This Black Note device and its 4.5mL replacement pods are intended for White Note and other conventionally flavored e-liquids. They support different VG/PG formulations, including 50/50 and high-VG liquids, in both freebase and nicotine salt varieties.

We do not recommend using this device or these pods with Black Note naturally extracted tobacco (NET) e-liquids. This includes:

50VG/50PG freebase

High-VG freebase, including 70VG/30PG

50VG/50PG nicotine salts

This recommendation applies to every nicotine strength in the Black Note NET range.

Black Note’s natural tobacco extracts have delicate, nuanced flavor profiles. Customers have reported a plastic-like taste or odor when using them in this particular pod, which can overwhelm the tobacco’s subtle notes and alter its intended flavor. For that reason, this pairing does not deliver the flavor experience we want our customers to have.

Although this hardware carries the Black Note name, this particular model is intended for conventionally flavored e-liquids rather than our natural tobacco range.
