FAQ's

Use a 70/30 VG/PG freebase e-liquid at a lower nicotine strength in the SMOK Nord X. Its RPM 2 and RPM mesh coils run at 25 watts and up, where a thicker 70/30 blend wicks cleanly and gives smooth, dense vapor from the 6mL pod.

We do not recommend it. The SMOK Nord X runs its coils at 25 to 50 watts, where nicotine salts and thinner 50/50 blends can feel harsh and are more likely to flood or leak the pod. For salt nicotine, a higher-resistance pod kit suits better than the SMOK Nord X.

The SMOK Nord X takes SMOK RPM and RPM 2 coils. The kit includes a 0.16 ohm RPM 2 mesh coil rated 25 to 50 watts for direct-lung vapor and a 0.4 ohm RPM mesh coil rated around 25 watts for a more restricted draw. Both coil families are sold separately at Black Note for the SMOK Nord X.

The SMOK Nord X has a 1500mAh built-in battery and adjusts from 5 to 60 watts. It recharges over USB with the included cable, and the OLED display on the SMOK Nord X shows wattage, battery level and puff count. The battery is built in, so the SMOK Nord X needs no separate cells.

The SMOK Nord X is rated IP67 for water, dust and shock resistance, so it handles splashes, pockets and drops better than most pod kits. An IP67 rating is not a reason to submerge the SMOK Nord X or charge it while wet.

The SMOK Nord X pod holds 6mL and fills from the side. Pull the pod out, lift the silicone stopper, fill slowly to just below the top, and close the stopper. With a new coil, let the SMOK Nord X pod stand five to ten minutes before the first puff.

The SMOK Nord X includes atomizer recognition, overheating protection, an 8-second firing cut-off, short-circuit protection and a low battery warning. These cut power to the SMOK Nord X when a fault is detected or the battery runs too low. If a protection trips, let the SMOK Nord X cool and check the coil before firing again.

The SMOK Nord X does not cause coil buildup on its own; the e-liquid does. Heavily sweetened e-liquids can gunk a coil within a few days, while naturally extracted tobacco e-liquids typically let a coil last one to two weeks under normal use. Black Note Special Blend and Special Blend 3.0 are made with no added sweeteners and an additional filtration step, which is why we recommend them for coil life in the SMOK Nord X.

Yes. The SMOK Nord X runs Black Note’s 70/30 VG/PG blends well at lower nicotine strengths, on either the 0.16 ohm RPM 2 coil or the 0.4 ohm RPM coil. Because Black Note e-liquids have no added sweeteners, they also help coils in the SMOK Nord X last longer.

    Pocket Vape

    I have purchased a few different vapes styles over the last 10 years... If I like it I stick with it until they don't sell it anymore and then I have to find another one I like.... This one,, is by far the best. It is compact but holds a great charge and plenty of juice for my needs. I can carry it in my front pocket on the lock setting. It is small to not feel heavy in my pocket. I love the magnet head and the easy fill... I have ordered a few of these to have as back ups just in case they stop selling it. Get em while they still make them... Grab the spare heads and coils while your add it to ensure you have a good supply.
