Menthol Tobacco

No. There are no sweeteners in any Black Note e-liquid, so Menthol Tobacco is mint over real tobacco rather than toothpaste, cough drop, or candy. The only sweetness is what the Oriental leaf brings on its own.

Clear and cooling, built for people who smoked full-flavor menthols, without the ice blast of a mint candy e-liquid. If you want a lighter, crisper menthol, Special Blend Menthol is the one most menthol smokers pick.

Menthol Tobacco is the original: sun-cured Oriental tobacco with a fuller menthol character. Special Blend Menthol is crisper and lighter, with an extra purification step that makes it coil-friendly for all-day pod use. Fuller body, start here; all-day pod, start with Special Blend Menthol. Both are tobacco first, pulegone-free mint on top.

The menthol is a natural mint extract from Mentha arvensis, chosen because it contains no pulegone. Pulegone is a compound the FDA banned as a synthetic food additive; it still shows up in many mint and menthol e-liquids. Black Note menthol has none.

50VG/50PG is smooth in MTL pods and low-wattage devices. 70VG/30PG has more VG for bigger vapor in sub-ohm setups. Salt nicotine comes in higher strengths and gives a smoother pull in pod devices. VG and PG are the two liquids in every e-liquid; more VG means thicker vapor, more PG carries flavor and feels a little sharper.

Freebase (50VG/50PG and 70VG/30PG) comes in 0, 3, 6, 12, and 18 mg in a 60mL bottle. Salt nicotine comes in 20, 30, and 50 mg in a 30mL bottle. The selector shows what is in stock today. A pack-a-day menthol smoker usually starts at 6 mg in 50/50 or 20 mg salt in a pod; menthol lights, 3 mg. Higher is not better, and the Vape Quiz takes under two minutes.

It is a full natural extract, so it leaves more on a coil than a light blend and you will change coils sooner than with Special Blend Menthol. There are no sweeteners in it, which is the part that matters most for coil life.

No. Menthol Tobacco is a menthol cigarette taste, not a candy mint. If your disposable was mint-flavored, Menthol Tobacco will taste more like tobacco.

Yes. Menthol Tobacco is a bottled e-liquid, so it goes in a refillable pod system or tank instead of a sealed disposable. You buy the device once and refill it, rather than replacing the whole vape each time it runs dry.

A refillable pod system and a bottle of e-liquid such as Menthol Tobacco. Pod systems are small and draw like a disposable, so the feel is familiar. Browse our Pod Systems section, or take the Vape Quiz and we’ll point you to a match.

Check the strength printed on your disposable’s box. Many list 5% (50 mg/ml) nicotine salt. Menthol Tobacco Salt Nicotine comes in 2% (20 mg/ml), 3% (30 mg/ml) and 5% (50 mg/ml), so you can match what you’re used to.

Most disposables lean on fruit and candy flavors. Menthol Tobacco is naturally extracted from real tobacco leaf, with natural mint and no synthetic flavorings, so it tastes like menthol tobacco, not dessert.

Menthol Tobacco works in any refillable (open) pod system or tank. It won’t work in sealed, pre-filled pods or disposables, because those can’t be refilled.
