FAQ's

Aspire rates them as follows: 0.17 ohm at 45 to 55 watts, 0.3 ohm at 30 to 40 watts, 0.4 ohm at 25 to 35 watts, 0.6 ohm at 15 to 25 watts and 1.0 ohm at 10 to 16 watts. Start at the low end of the range and work up until the flavour is where you want it. Running above the range is the fastest way to burn a coil.

Aspire lists the BP Stik Pod, the BP 80 Pod, the Veynom Pod and the Huracan tanks. Note the split between the two Huracans: the Huracan Mini takes the 0.4, 0.6 and 1.0 ohm coils, while the full-size Huracan Tank takes 0.15, 0.17 and 0.3 ohm. They are not interchangeable, so check which tank you own before ordering.

Per Aspire: the Veynom Air, Veynom EX, Veynom LX, Revolto, BP Stik, BP 80, Rhea X, Huracan EX and Huracan LX. The 0.4 and 0.6 ohm are not listed for the Revolto or the Huracan EX and LX.

Five.

Most people get one to two weeks from a coil, but it depends heavily on how much you vape and what you put through it. Heavily sweetened e-liquids caramelise on the mesh and can halve that. Unsweetened tobacco blends are much kinder to a coil, which is why a coil in a Black Note liquid usually outlasts the same coil in a dessert flavour.

Put two or three drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton, fit the coil, fill the tank or pod, then leave it standing for five to ten minutes before the first puff. Take two or three gentle draws with the device switched off to pull liquid through. Then start at the bottom of the wattage range.

Usually one of four things: it was fired before the cotton was fully saturated, the wattage is above Aspire’s range for that resistance, the tank ran low, or you are chain-vaping faster than the wick can re-saturate. A burnt coil cannot be recovered, so prime the next one properly and give it a moment between draws.

No. Rinsing a mesh coil washes out some residue but leaves the cotton saturated with water and already-degraded fibres, and the flavour never comes back properly. These are consumables and are priced as such.

Match it to the resistance. The higher resistances, 0.6 and 1.0 ohm, run cooler and suit salt nicotine at a mouth-to-lung draw. The sub-ohm options, 0.17 to 0.4 ohm, put out a lot more vapour, so a lower-strength freebase liquid is the sensible pairing there.

For the sub-ohm coils, a 70/30 VG/PG liquid feeds the mesh properly. For the 0.6 and 1.0 ohm, a 50/50 is a better match because it wicks faster into a tighter coil. Our tobacco blends are available in both ratios.

    Aspire coils

Great flavor from these Aspire coils. The 0.3 kept burning out on me, so I ordered the 0.4 's instead. They've been decent. The 0.17 's on the Cloudflask III are solid coils.

0.6 Dual coil (round wire not mesh)

I really love Aspire's round wire coils. Between Freemax and Aspire, they produce the best-tasting and pleasantly dense clouds as well. I'm ordering the 0.3 coils and an RBA. . But the 0.6 ohm coils are fantastic at 25 watts. The coils arrived with my BP 80, which is a great device too. The airflow and interior are so clean and nice looking. Definitely a must-have for a true Black Note tobacco vaper.

I adore my Aspire ecig, and the replacement coils hold up for quite a while. (roughly 5-7 days, depending on usage) Simple to swap out and use.

    longest lasting coils

These Aspire BP coils are the longest lasting coils I've ever used for any pod system (Aspire tekno pod system). I've found that setting the tekno to 10 Watts makes the coil last on average one and a half to two weeks...wow!

    It’s been a great coil

It’s been a wonderful coil so far, so I bought replacements so I wouldn’t need to reorder too soon.
