It’s made the way all of our e-liquid is made: from real tobacco leaf, with no artificial flavors, no sweeteners, and no synthetic nicotine. The mint is pulegone-free (Menthe Arvensis).

All three formulations below are coil-friendly: an extra distillation step removes the residual waxes and sugars that gunk up coils, so every version here runs cleaner and stretches coil life, no matter which one you pick.

What does Special Blend Menthol taste like?

Cool, natural peppermint over real, naturally extracted tobacco. Balanced and crisp, not sweet, closer to a real menthol cigarette than a mint candy.

What's the difference between 50/50, 70/30, and salt?

50VG/50PG is smooth in MTL pods and low-wattage devices. 70VG/30PG has more VG for bigger vapor in sub-ohm setups. Salt nicotine comes in higher strengths and gives a smoother pull in pod devices. All three are coil-friendly. New to these numbers? VG (vegetable glycerin) and PG (propylene glycol) are the two liquids that make up every e-liquid, ours included. The ratio is just how much of each: more VG makes for thicker vapor and bigger clouds, more PG carries flavor and feels a little sharper.

Which one should I choose?

Most people do best on the 50VG/50PG for an all-day menthol. Pick 70VG/30PG if you use a sub-ohm device and want more vapor. Choose salt if you’re coming off a pack or more of menthols a day and want a stronger, smoother hit in a pod. Still unsure? Take the Vape Quiz.

Yes, all three formulations. Because there are no sweeteners, there’s less coil gunk, so coils last longer.

What nicotine strengths are available?

Freebase (50VG/50PG and 70VG/30PG) comes in 0, 3, 6, 12, and 18 mg in a 60mL bottle. Salt nicotine comes in 20, 30, and 50 mg in a 30mL bottle.

Is the menthol natural?

What device works best?

    As most vapers know or have experienced…sometimes it can be a little overwhelming when trying to decide which 70vg/30pg E-liquid to purchase. If you enjoy menthol and are looking for the closest flavor and taste to a menthol ciggy, then you will satisfied with from Black Note Special Blend menthol E-liquid. I gave this four stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ because it deserved it. Taste is solid. The menthol flavor is sort of strong or should i say, “strong enough” for me. Each puff is flavorful and consistent which is what you want! In addition, there’s no funky aftertaste which is so key. Whether you purchase Black Note Special Blend Menthol for or the cheaper Black Note Menthol you will not be disappointed. Great job to the men & women @ BlackNote for a great product! The only thing I would ask is can we maybe lower the price point like a little bit? 39 buck$ is a bit much for this product but i get it, i really do! Supply and Demand. YOU KNOW YOU’LL STILL MAKE BANK IF YOU SELL THIS FOR $29.99! lol Hope this long winded review helped someone make a decision. Btw i vape with an Ageis Solo 3 from GeekVape bought here on the BN site.     Real Tobacco!

    If you're a cigarette smoker switching to vape this is the tobacco flavor you're looking for! Not as much menthol flavoring I'm looking for but definitely reminds me of a cigarette. I added a little menthol to it, works for me. Super fast shipping. Probably will not buy any more cigarettes. Definitely worth trying!

    Decent Menthol

    I only got the Menthol because they were out of the Special Blend for so long. After 3 weeks on the Menthol i was really sick of it. I actually tried a few other companies while I was waiting the month while they restocked and changed the formula and they were all horrible. Blacknote has the best flavor hands down, nothing else is even comparable. I really just wish their customer service and supply issues were better, they are always out of stock.

    I have been using the new Special Blend Vape juice since it was released, so quite a while now. I honestly can’t see why anyone would use the original blend. Just my opinion. Using this new blend as well as keeping the cartridge chamber clean on your device truly adds to the life of each pod and saves a lot of money. I keep my vape juice in a hard case pouch, which I use to store my supplies. I also keep a napkin, and Q-tips in it. I have found that cleaning the inside of the vape chamber where the cartridge goes seems to be the key to longevity of the pods and the device as well. I check it periodically, but when changing the pods it’s essential. Overfilling will result in this “chamber” having leaked vape juice in it. That needs to be thoroughly cleaned with a napkin and a Q-tip when this happens. It’ll also keep flooding if some of the vape juice isn’t removed, and this can be done with a small syringe that fits into the fill hole and the vape juice can be saved for the next fill, and therefore it won’t be wasted. Also never letting it get too low as well though, is really important, as this will cause even the new cleaner solution to start turning darker and tasting bad, which means having to change the pod sooner. Just thought I’d share this because it definitely saves money!

    Opps! ...hey, not bad!

    I ordered it by accident. I meant to get the regular Special Blend. After I got over the initial shock of the very unexpected flavor (I'm autistic. Anything suddenly different is really jarring!) - It's pretty good. It's not too strong, even for my sensitive senses. When these two bottles are done, maybe I'll get the menthol one again. We'll see.

    Special Blend Menthol (50/50, 0mg) vs Solo Menthol (50/50, 0mg)

    Ordered the Special Blend Menthol 50/50 and Menthol Tobacco (Solo) 50/50 in two separate shipments (both 0mg) about a week apart and have tried both. The Solo will begin to taste "off" when using an 0.8 ohm (3ml) pod before the pod is empty. I have to use a 1.0 ohm (2ml) pod for this liquid instead. The Special Blend Menthol taste remains consistent for at least two refills in an 0.8 ohm (3ml) pod, and would probably last even longer in a 1.0 ohm pod but it seems to need the higher wattage of the 0.8 ohm pod to bring out the subtler flavor. (Device: Vaporesso XROS Pro with Corex 2.0 pods) When it's time order again, I'll get another bottle of the Special Blend Menthol. Neither e-liquid tastes like smoking a real cigarette from what I remember, but that was a long time ago.

    My daughter finally made the switch!

    Special Blend menthol salt formula is absolutely the closest thing to a real menthol cig that you’ll ever find. I was FINALLY able to get my daughter to give it an honest try- to stop her use of sweet over the counter vapes that are loaded with toxins and her every now and then use of menthol newports!!! Of course as a parent I’d rather her not use anything, but I feel so much better about it now that she made the change to Blacknote! Had to add this because the alternatives are so bad! I hope others can help their family members make the switch to Blacknote as well. It took her about a week to adjust but now she is thoroughly impressed with Blacknote!

    Special Blend is the BEST!

    Special Blend is hands down the only way to go. The pods last longer with it and it is even an option with salt blends as well! My favorite is special blend menthol salt formula. It is the closest thing to a real menthol cig that you’ll ever find. Plus it’s Blacknote so it’s much safer than other vape juices. I love it and I was even able to get my daughter to stop her use of sweet over the counter vapes that are full of toxic ingredients. She also smoked menthol newports some- so the change to Blacknote is wonderful!
