What e-liquid can I use in the Aspire PockeX?

The PockeX runs freebase or salt nicotine e-liquid in its 2mL tank, and the coil you fit decides which suits it. Aspire pairs the 1.2 ohm U-Tech coil with high nicotine e-liquid and the 0.6 ohm with flavour and vapour. A balanced 50/50 blend wicks well through either, which is why we point PockeX owners at Special Blend rather than a thick high-VG juice.

The Aspire PockeX suits new vapers because it has one fire button, no wattage menu and a top-fill tank. You press and hold the button while inhaling, and the coil you fit sets the draw. The 1.2 ohm U-Tech coil gives a tighter mouth-to-lung pull, and the 0.6 ohm gives a warmer, more open restricted draw.

The Aspire PockeX has a 1500mAh built-in battery that recharges over USB with the included cable. How long a charge lasts depends on the coil and how often you vape: the 1.2 ohm U-Tech coil draws less power than the 0.6 ohm, so the Aspire PockeX usually runs longer per charge on the 1.2 ohm coil.

Fill the Aspire PockeX tank, let a new coil soak for five to ten minutes, then press and hold the single fire button while you inhale. Release the button when you finish the puff. The Aspire PockeX uses direct output, so there is no wattage or temperature setting to adjust.

The Aspire PockeX fills from the top. Unscrew the top cap, fill slowly down the side of the 2mL glass to just below the maximum line, and screw the cap back on. With a fresh coil, add a few drops to the cotton first and wait five to ten minutes before the first puff.

The Aspire PockeX uses Aspire PockeX U-Tech coils in 0.6 ohm and 1.2 ohm. The 1.2 ohm coil is the mouth-to-lung option and suits salt nicotine or higher-strength freebase. The 0.6 ohm coil gives a warmer, more open draw. Black Note sells PockeX U-Tech coils in 5-packs, and the spare pyrex glass is listed separately.

A 50/50 VG/PG e-liquid works best in the Aspire PockeX. Its small U-Tech coils wick a balanced blend reliably, while a thick 70/30 can wick slowly and cause dry hits. Freebase and salt nicotine both work; pair salt nicotine or higher-strength freebase with the 1.2 ohm coil.

The Aspire PockeX does not cause coil buildup on its own; the e-liquid does. Heavily sweetened e-liquids can gunk a coil within a few days, while naturally extracted tobacco e-liquids typically let a coil last one to two weeks under normal use. Black Note Special Blend and Special Blend 3.0 are made with no added sweeteners and an additional filtration step, which is why we recommend them for coil life in the Aspire PockeX.

Yes. The Aspire PockeX runs Black Note e-liquids well in their 50/50 format. For the 1.2 ohm U-Tech coil and a mouth-to-lung draw, try Special Blend or Virginia at your usual strength. With the 0.6 ohm coil, Special Blend keeps the flavor full without the coil gunking up quickly.

Yes. The Aspire PockeX is hardware, and California’s restrictions on flavored vapor products apply to e-liquid rather than devices, so the Aspire PockeX ships to California addresses.     This is the best vape I've ever used. The price is good. It doesn't leak. It's simple to use. It's reliable. I've tried so many others and each had problems: leaking, vapes wouldn't unlock, one got so hot it wasn't usable. This is the best, at a decent price. There's nothing else acceptable for me.     I love my new PockeX.

    I love my new PockeX. The older style was kind of bulky and would leak juice occasionally. I get a better cloud with the new one. I can use 70vg/30pg juice with the newer one, whereas the older one wouldn't work with the 0.2 coils. So far I'm pretty happy with it. Big plus is the size and ease of filling and changing coils.

    Love my Pockex!

    I've been using the Aspire Pockex for years. I've tried other similar vape systems and keep coming back to the Pockex! I love how easy it is to fill, charge, and swap the coil.
