Description

The VOOPOO Argus Pro is a single-unit pod mod with a 3000mAh battery built in, running 5 to 80 watts on the GENE.TT chipset. It takes the 4.5mL PnP pod, so it draws on the whole PnP coil range rather than a proprietary cartridge, and it ships with a 0.15 ohm PnP-VM6 and a 0.3 ohm PnP-VM1.

The Infinite Airflow System is the feature that earns its place day to day. The slider adjusts airflow continuously rather than in fixed steps, so the same device can give a tight restricted draw on a 0.3 ohm coil or open right up on the 0.15 ohm. A 0.96-inch colour screen shows wattage, battery and puff count, and charging runs at 5V/2A over USB Type-C.

Because the battery is built in there are no cells to buy or carry. If you would rather use removable 18650s, the Argus GT II is the alternative in the same family, and coils carry across. Replacement PnP pods are sold separately. For naturally extracted tobacco that keeps coils clean, run Special Blend or Virginia in 70/30.

Eighty watts, a 3000mAh cell you never have to take out, and airflow you can set anywhere rather than in three notches. The Argus Pro is the practical one.
