VOOPOO PnP Coils use the plug and play press-fit system, with nine resistances for mouth-to-lung and direct-lung vaping. These are the original PnP coil series, sold in a 5-pack.

Compatible with: Voopoo Drag 4, Voopoo Argus Pro, Voopoo Argus GT II and the Voopoo UForce-L Tank. VOOPOO also lists the Drag S, Drag X, Drag E60, Drag H80S, Vinci, Vinci R, Vinci X, Vinci Air, Navi, PnP 22 and PnP 20, which we do not currently stock.

Description

VOOPOO PnP Coils are the original press-fit coil platform, sold in packs of five. They drop into the UFORCE-L tank and the PnP pod range without threading, and the nine resistances we stock cover everything from tight mouth-to-lung at 10 watts to full sub-ohm clouds at 80 watts. Every coil in this range is mesh with organic cotton wicking.

Because the whole platform shares one press-fit body, you can change the character of a device just by changing the coil. Running a 1.2 ohm PnP-TR1 in a Drag 4 gives a cigarette-like mouth-to-lung draw at low wattage, while the 0.15 ohm PnP-VM6 in the same device produces dense direct-lung vapor. For naturally extracted tobacco, Special Blend and Virginia in 70/30 suit the mid-range resistances best.

FAQ's

VOOPOO PnP Coils are the original press-fit replacement coils for the VOOPOO PnP platform, sold five to a pack. Among the devices we stock they fit the Drag 4, the Argus Pro, the Argus GT II and the UFORCE-L tank. VOOPOO also lists the Drag S, Drag X, Drag E60, Drag H80S, Vinci, Vinci R, Vinci X, Vinci Air, Navi, PnP 22 and PnP 20 as compatible hosts, though we do not currently stock those devices.

We stock nine VOOPOO PnP Coils. The PnP-VM6 is 0.15 ohm at 60 to 80 watts and the PnP-TW15 is 0.15 ohm at 55 to 70 watts. The PnP-VM5 is 0.2 ohm at 40 to 60 watts and the PnP-TW20 is 0.2 ohm at 40 to 55 watts. The PnP-VM1 is 0.3 ohm at 32 to 40 watts, the PnP-TW30 is 0.3 ohm at 28 to 36 watts, the PnP-VM3 is 0.45 ohm at 25 to 32 watts, the PnP-VM4 is 0.6 ohm at 20 to 28 watts, and the PnP-TR1 is 1.2 ohm at 10 to 15 watts.

VOOPOO PnP Coils and PnP X coils are two separate coil bodies and they do not interchange. VOOPOO PnP Coils are the original platform and fit devices such as the Drag 4, Argus Pro and the UFORCE-L tank. PnP X coils are the newer platform and fit devices such as the Drag 5 and the UFORCE-X tank. Check the platform label printed on your device or tank before ordering, because the two look similar but will not seat in each other’s bases.

VOOPOO PnP Coils push into the base of the pod or tank rather than screwing in. Line the coil up with the socket, press it home until it seats, and pull it straight out with a firm tug when it is spent. Before the first use, wet the exposed cotton ports with e-liquid, fill the tank, and leave it standing for about five minutes so the wick saturates fully. Firing a dry VOOPOO PnP Coil is the fastest way to ruin it.

Each pack of VOOPOO PnP Coils contains five coils of a single resistance. Packs are not mixed, so if you want to try two different resistances you need two packs. Most vapers keep a spare pack on hand, because a coil that starts tasting muted mid-week is easier to swap than to nurse along.

Black Note 70/30 VG/PG e-liquids suit VOOPOO PnP Coils well. Run Special Blend or Virginia on the 0.3 ohm PnP-VM1 at 32 to 40 watts for a warmer tobacco-forward draw, or on the 0.2 ohm PnP-TW20 at 40 to 55 watts for more vapor. For a mouth-to-lung draw closer to a cigarette, use the 1.2 ohm PnP-TR1 at 10 to 15 watts. Staying at the lower end of each band keeps the subtler notes in a naturally extracted tobacco intact.

VOOPOO PnP Coils perform well with naturally extracted tobacco e-liquids that contain no added sweeteners. Heavily sweetened e-liquids can gunk a VOOPOO PnP Coil within two to three days. Black Note Special Blend and Special Blend 3.0 are made specifically to reduce coil buildup through an additional filtration step and contain no added sweeteners, and used in VOOPOO PnP Coils they typically extend coil life to one to two weeks under normal daily use.

With naturally extracted tobacco e-liquid and no added sweeteners, VOOPOO PnP Coils typically last one to two weeks of normal daily use. Heavily sweetened e-liquids can cut that to two or three days. The tells that a VOOPOO PnP Coil needs replacing are a burnt or muted flavor, noticeably less vapor, and gurgling. Priming a new coil and letting it stand for five minutes before the first draw makes a real difference to how long it lasts.

Pick a VOOPOO PnP Coil by the draw you want. For mouth-to-lung vaping closest to a cigarette, choose the 1.2 ohm PnP-TR1 at 10 to 15 watts. For a restricted or half direct lung draw, the 0.45 ohm PnP-VM3 or the 0.6 ohm PnP-VM4 sit in the 20 to 32 watt range. For full direct lung vapor, the 0.15 ohm PnP-VM6 at 60 to 80 watts is the highest-output VOOPOO PnP Coil we stock.

VOOPOO PnP Coils can be shipped to California. They are hardware, not a flavored e-liquid product, so they are not subject to California’s flavored tobacco shipping restrictions.     Atomizer

    I previously had the PnP M2 but found it weak in flavor. I assumed the original that came with the device was an M3, so I bought those, but it only runs up to 35 watts and feels underpowered.

    Excellent product but doesnt last long

    I've been using the VM5 coil for the PNP Pod Tank since it's more user-friendly than the others it comes with. For some reason, the coils hit hard after a couple of days of use, then you need to lower the watts to avoid a burning sensation.

    These are excellent coils for the Voopoo tank. INCREDIBLY EASY to swap out; they last me about 2 weeks, sometimes longer on my ADV. I use Geekvape and Smok mods. I've been using these for years and will keep using them, they're the BEST!

    My favorite coils

    I've been using all the drag mods since they were introduced. They have a very compact form factor and mimic a tubular battery shape. I'm not really a fan of vaping with a box shape. Anyway, when I use these coils the flavor seems enhanced and quite bold. I believe that's due to the high quality cotton used, which is the most important factor in getting good flavor. These are by far the best.

    Great Coils

    These PnP coils are excellent. They deliver good, consistent flavor and last quite a while. The price is fair and they produce nice thick clouds. One coil lasts roughly 40ml of juice, give or take. Highly recommend
