FAQ's

What wattage should I run Aspire BVC clearomizer coils at?

Aspire rates the 1.6 ohm at 6 to 11 watts and the 1.8 ohm at 9 to 13 watts. Aspire also lists a 2.1 ohm at 11 to 16 watts, which we do not currently stock.

Aspire lists the Spryte, K1, K Lite and K1 Plus clearomizers.

No. This is the single most common mix-up with Aspire coils. Nautilus tanks take the separate Nautilus BVC coil, which is a different part despite sharing the BVC name. Ordering by name alone will get you the wrong coil.

Five.

Bottom Vertical Coil, Aspire’s design where the coil stands vertically in the base with bottom wicking ports. It gives a tight, cool, cigarette-like draw at low wattage.

One to two weeks is typical, but it depends on how much you vape and what you run through it. Sweetened e-liquids caramelise on the coil and can halve its life. Unsweetened tobacco blends are much gentler, which is one reason our liquids carry no added sweeteners.

Put two or three drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton, fit the coil, fill the tank, then let it stand for five to ten minutes. Take a couple of gentle draws with the device off to pull liquid through, then start at the bottom of the wattage range.

Almost always one of four causes: fired before the cotton was saturated, run above the rated wattage, the tank was low, or chain-vaping faster than the wick can recover. A burnt coil cannot be revived, so prime the next one properly and give it a beat between draws.

No. Rinsing shifts some residue but the cotton is already spent, and the flavour does not come back. These are consumables.

A 50/50 VG/PG blend at a mouth-to-lung draw. At 6 to 13 watts these coils do not produce much vapour by design, so they pair well with higher nicotine strengths and salt nicotine.

I second that. Would love to be able to get these from BN. They’re getting hard to find and way too expensive when you do.

Please oh please can you get these in stock for us. We have always used the aspire nautilus and they use this filter. We bought 2boxes of 10 packs when you were selling out of them a year or so ago and now we are out of them. Please help us out! We really like these.
