FAQ's

The 1000mAh battery provides enough power for a full day of moderate use. The device charges rapidly via Type-C USB, reaching 80-90% in just 45 minutes. The LED indicators (Green, Blue, Red) show battery levels.

The Explorer’s pod is divided into two compartments, each with a 2mL capacity. Users can fill each side with a different e-liquid. The four-leaf clover button allows you to:

  • Left Button: Vape from the left pod coil.
  • Right Button: Vape from the right pod coil.
  • Top Button: Activate both coils simultaneously to mix flavors.
  • Bottom Button: Alternate flavors between draws.

  • Remove the pod from the device.
  • Locate the silicone-stoppered fill ports on each side of the pod.
  • Open the stopper for the desired side and fill with e-liquid. Avoid overfilling.
  • Close the stopper securely and reinsert the pod.

The Explorer works best with nicotine salts and high-PG e-liquids (50/50 VG/PG). It can also handle higher VG e-liquids (up to 70VG) with the 0.8Ω coil for more vapor production.

Replace the coils when:

  • The flavor tastes burnt or muted.
  • Vapor production decreases.
  • Coils have been used for 7-10 days, depending on vaping frequency and e-liquid type.

Yes, the airflow can be adjusted by rotating the coils inside the pod. Align the coils differently for tighter MTL draws or looser RDL experiences.

The device includes:

  • Short-Circuit Protection: Disables the device if a pod is damaged.
  • Low-Voltage Protection: Alerts users to recharge.
  • Overdraw Protection: Prevents overheating by limiting draw duration.

Yes. The Explorer’s auto-draw activation, flavor-switching options, and straightforward pod system make it ideal for beginners. The dual-flavor feature also allows new vapers to experiment with different e-liquids.

Yes. The Uwell Caliburn Explorer Pod System pairs well with Black Note naturally extracted tobacco e-liquids. The 1.2 ohm Meshed G2 coil suits Black Note salt nicotine for a tighter draw, while the 0.8 ohm Meshed G coil suits Black Note 50/50 or 70/30. With the dual-sided pod, you can fill one side with Special Blend and the other with Special Blend Menthol for a cooler draw. For the longest coil life, start with Black Note Special Blend or Special Blend 3.0.

Coil buildup on the Uwell Caliburn Explorer Pod System depends on the e-liquid more than the device. Heavily sweetened e-liquids can gunk a Caliburn G coil within a few days, while naturally extracted tobacco e-liquids with no added sweeteners typically keep a coil going for one to two weeks under normal use. Black Note Special Blend and Special Blend 3.0 are the coil-friendly options in the Black Note line: no added sweeteners and an additional filtration step, designed to reduce residue on the coil.

    Awesome pod

I was looking to upgrade from my Caliburn G2. I spotted this little device, checked the reviews, and decided to give it a try. The device is nice. The airflow is partially adjustable. if you flip the pod facing the buttons, you'll see each side is labeled A and B, which gives a tighter draw; flip it so it reads B and A and the draw loosens up. I hadn't seen any reviews mention this. The only minor downside is that firing both coils at once drains the battery fairly quickly, but man, does it vape well.

    This is my third Caliburn.

This is my third Caliburn. Great device, as expected from Uwell. I love the idea of mixing two flavors. Wish the tight draw setting were a bit tighter, though

    Awesome!

It's like Caliburn read my mind. I always used to carry 2 different devices for variety.. now I only need one. Perfect!

    Great pod system

I used a mod for years and finally made the switch. Better than the mod, in my opinion. I don't really care about having huge clouds

    Bad ass vape magic

I love the new Caliburn Explorer! The flavor it produces is amazing, and the vapor output is impressive too! Anyhow, if you're the type who's always swapping pods for a new flavor, this is definitely the one for you! Get it and see why! So impressed

    Game changer!!!

This pod system takes vaping to a whole new level. Not only can you switch between flavors, but you can also draw both at once or intermittently. Battery life is pretty decent too. I'm definitely keeping this one!!!
