Update to the 10/19/23 review. I’ve downgraded it a bit for the simple reason that the second battery will not produce as tight a draw as the first one. Although I’m filling in one of the pod air holes and have glued the battery air flow wheel completely closed it just won’t provide as tight of draw as the first battery. You would think it would be the pod but I’ve tried three different pods and they all have a tighter draw on the original battery. I don’t see much more I can do to tighten the air flow so I’m going to have to downgrade it a bit as I’m just not as happy with the second battery.

I ordered this in early September 2023 to use for MTL vaping. I had read reviews that said the draw was a bit loose for MTL but I decided to try it. By closing the air ports on the battery it has been working pretty well. I ordered a second one so I’d have a spare battery if needed. After charging the new battery I used the pod from the original and found that the draw was so loose it would be difficult to use for MTL vaping. After examining the new battery I realized it would be quite difficult to modify the air flow through it. I then examined my original pod. On the bottom near the magnets there are two air intake holes. As I had spare pods (although I had never replaced the original, just coils) I took a new pod and glued one of the air intakes full. This worked great! I can now use either battery with the same pod and have draws that work for MTL. So far I don’t see any reason to replace the pods unless they start leaking. If so I’ll just glue one air intake closed. I wanted to share this in case anyone else had issues with the draw being too loose. In conclusion, Smok needs to work on the air control but the battery life is great and no leaks so far. As the pods are side fill it can be hard to figure out how much to fill them. Don’t overfill them, that can result in vape juice in the mouth!
