Geekvape Z Series Coils are the replacement coils for the Geekvape Zeus (Z) Sub-Ohm Tank and Z Subohm tank family, sold five to a pack. Choose from 0.15, 0.2, 0.25 dual and 0.4 ohm coils in classic mesh or the newer XM build, each with its own rated range between 45 and 90W. Every coil is a plug-in design that pushes into the tank base, and the wattage range is printed on the coil and package.

Compatible with: Geekvape Z (Zeus) Sub-Ohm Tank, L200 (Aegis Legend 2) Kit, S100 (Aegis Solo 2) Kit, T200 (Aegis Touch) Kit, Aegis Legend 5 Kit, Aegis Solo 3 Starter Kit. Check the coil guide below for which coil each kit’s tank takes.

Not for the Z Max or Z Nano: the Z Max Tank uses Geekvape M Series Coils, and the Z Nano uses Geekvape B Series Coils.

Geekvape Z Series Coils (5-Pack)

Geekvape Z Series Coils are the plug-in replacement coils for Geekvape’s Z tank family, including the Zeus (Z) Sub-Ohm Tank and the Z Subohm tanks that ship with Aegis kits such as the L200 and S100. Each pack holds five coils of one resistance.

The range covers two families. Classic Z coils run from the 0.4 ohm mesh at 50 to 60W up to the 0.15 ohm coil at 80 to 90W, plus a 0.25 ohm dual coil at 45 to 57W. The XM coils are Geekvape’s upgraded build, in 0.4 ohm at 50 to 60W and 0.15 ohm at 70 to 85W.

Geekvape Z coils: check the tank, then the wattage

Start with the tank name. Kits and mods do not determine coil compatibility by themselves because the installed tank can vary.

Z Subohm, Zeus, or Z Fli: use Z Series coils.
Z Max: use M Series coils.
Z Nano: use B Series coils.

Geekvape Z Series Coils fit the Geekvape Zeus (Z) Sub-Ohm Tank and the Z Subohm tank family. Among the kits we stock, Geekvape lists the L200 and S100 for the 0.2 and 0.25 ohm coils, the T200 for the 0.4 ohm and 0.15 ohm XM, and the Aegis Legend 5 and Aegis Solo 3 for the XM coils. The Z Max takes M Series coils and the Z Nano takes B Series coils, not Geekvape Z Series Coils.

Geekvape rates Geekvape Z Series Coils by resistance. The 0.15 ohm coil runs at 80 to 90W, the 0.2 ohm at 70 to 80W, the 0.25 ohm dual at 45 to 57W and the 0.4 ohm at 50 to 60W. The XM versions run at 70 to 85W for 0.15 ohm and 50 to 60W for 0.4 ohm. Start at the low end of the range on new Geekvape Z Series Coils.

Classic and XM Geekvape Z Series Coils share the same Z coil base and fit the same tanks. The XM coils are Geekvape’s upgraded build, sold in 0.15 ohm at 70 to 85W and 0.4 ohm at 50 to 60W. If you are unsure, the 0.4 ohm in either family is the gentlest option, while the 0.15 ohm Geekvape Z Series Coils produce the most vapor.

Geekvape Z Series Coils are sub-ohm coils for direct-lung vaping, so a 70VG/30PG or higher-VG e-liquid at a low nicotine strength works best. Thinner 50/50 blends and salt nicotine can flood a coil running at 50W or more, and higher nicotine feels harsh at that vapor volume. A thicker VG blend wicks steadily through Geekvape Z Series Coils.

Geekvape Z Series Coils do not cause coil buildup on their own; the e-liquid does. Heavily sweetened e-liquids can gunk a coil within a few days, while naturally extracted tobacco e-liquids typically let a coil last one to two weeks under normal use. Black Note Special Blend, in Light Tobacco Flavor and Full Tobacco Flavor (Special Blend 3.0), has no added sweeteners and goes through an additional filtration step, which is why we recommend it for longer life from Geekvape Z Series Coils.

Yes. Geekvape Z Series Coils run Black Note e-liquids well in 70VG/30PG. Try Special Blend or Virginia on the 0.4 ohm coil at 50 to 60W for a warm, flavor-first draw, or on the 0.2 ohm coil at 70 to 80W for more vapor. Keep nicotine low, around 3 mg/ml, because Geekvape Z Series Coils produce a large volume of vapor at these settings.

Empty the tank, unscrew the base, pull the old coil out and push the new one in until it seats. Drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the exposed cotton of Geekvape Z Series Coils, fill the tank and let it stand for about five minutes. Start at the bottom of the coil’s rated range for the first few puffs, then raise the power to taste.

Replace Geekvape Z Series Coils when the flavor turns muted or burnt, the vapor drops off, or the coil starts to gurgle. With an unsweetened tobacco e-liquid, a coil typically lasts one to two weeks of normal use, so a 5-pack of Geekvape Z Series Coils covers several weeks. Sweetened e-liquids and running above the rated wattage both shorten coil life.

Even the 0.4 ohm coil is too open and too powerful for a tight, cigarette-style draw.     Best coil for my setup

    Coils are exactly as advertised. I run them at 23 watts and they last for months as long as I keep juice in the tank.

    Diminished lifespan, but amazing flavour

    Compared to pod-based coils, the lifespan of these as the only coil option for my vape feels disappointingly short at 2 weeks, especially given the price paid for the vape. That said, the flavour to vapor ratio is spot on for those 2 weeks.

    Good reliable coils

    I've tried several different sub ohms with these to find what suits me best, and being a flavour chaser. Would recommend giving these a try if you're on the fence,these tanks & coils are among my favourites by far, in terms of function and looks.

    The airflow is smooth and simple to adjust, delivering excellent flavour and impressive cloud production. I've been using the Z Series coils, and they provide consistent performance with great flavour from the very first puff. Swapping coils is straightforward, and I've had no leaking, which is a huge plus.
