SMOK V18 Mini Coils are the replacement coils for the SMOK TFV18 Mini Tank, sold three to a pack. We stock the 0.15 ohm Dual Meshed coil, rated 80 to 110W, and the 0.33 ohm Meshed coil, rated 80 to 140W, both FeCrAl mesh with cotton wicking. They are sub-ohm coils for a direct-lung draw and are made for 70VG/30PG e-liquids.

Compatible with: Smok TFV18 Mini Tank, Smok G-Priv 4 Kit, Smok R-Kiss 2 Kit, and the Smok Fortis Kit, which ships with the same tank (not currently in stock).

Not for the full-size TFV18 Tank: the Smok TFV18 Tank takes the larger Smok TFV18 Replacement Coils, which do not fit the TFV18 Mini.

SMOK V18 Mini Coils (3-Pack)

SMOK V18 Mini Coils, sold as V18 Mini coils or TFV18 Mini coils, are the replacement coils for the SMOK TFV18 Mini Tank. That tank ships with the G-Priv 4, R-Kiss 2 and Fortis kits, so the same coils fit all three. Each pack holds three coils of one resistance.

We stock two builds. The 0.15 ohm Dual Meshed coil is rated 80 to 110W, with SMOK listing 90W as its best setting. The 0.33 ohm Meshed coil is rated 80 to 140W, best at 100 to 110W. Both use FeCrAl mesh with cotton wicking and are designed for 70VG/30PG e-liquids. SMOK also makes a 0.2 ohm V18 Mini Meshed coil, which we do not currently stock.

The TFV18 Mini takes its own coil size. The full-size TFV18 Tank uses the larger TFV18 coils, so check the tank name before ordering. For longer coil life, run an unsweetened tobacco e-liquid such as Special Blend or Virginia in 70VG/30PG.

SMOK V18 Mini Coils fit the SMOK TFV18 Mini Tank, which is the tank supplied with the SMOK G-Priv 4, R-Kiss 2 and Fortis kits, so all three take the same coils. They do not fit the full-size SMOK TFV18 Tank, which uses the larger TFV18 coils. If your tank is labeled TFV18 Mini or V18 Mini, SMOK V18 Mini Coils are the correct replacement.

It depends on the resistance. The 0.15 ohm Dual Meshed version of SMOK V18 Mini Coils is rated 80 to 110W, and SMOK lists 90W as its best setting. The 0.33 ohm Meshed version is rated 80 to 140W, best at 100 to 110W. Start new SMOK V18 Mini Coils at 80W for the first few puffs after priming, then raise the power toward the best setting to taste.

The 0.15 ohm option of SMOK V18 Mini Coils is a dual mesh coil rated 80 to 110W, so it reaches full output at a lower wattage. The 0.33 ohm option is a single mesh coil rated 80 to 140W and is designed to run hotter, best at 100 to 110W. Both are FeCrAl mesh with cotton wicking, and each pack of SMOK V18 Mini Coils holds three coils of one resistance.

No. SMOK V18 Mini Coils are made for the TFV18 Mini Tank, while the full-size SMOK TFV18 Tank takes the larger TFV18 coils. The two coil sizes are not interchangeable, so a TFV18 coil will not seat in the TFV18 Mini and SMOK V18 Mini Coils will not fit the full-size TFV18. Black Note stocks both, and the tank name printed on your device tells you which one to order.

SMOK V18 Mini Coils are sub-ohm coils rated from 80W up, so a 70VG/30PG e-liquid at a low nicotine strength works best. Thinner 50/50 blends and salt nicotine can flood the wick or taste harsh at that power. A thicker VG blend wicks steadily through the cotton in SMOK V18 Mini Coils and keeps up with the e-liquid demand of a high-wattage direct-lung draw.

SMOK V18 Mini Coils do not cause coil buildup on their own; the e-liquid does. Heavily sweetened e-liquids can gunk a coil within a few days, while naturally extracted tobacco e-liquids typically let a coil last one to two weeks under normal use. Black Note Special Blend, in Light Tobacco Flavor and Full Tobacco Flavor (Special Blend 3.0), has no added sweeteners and goes through an additional filtration step, which is why we recommend it for longer life from SMOK V18 Mini Coils.

Yes. SMOK V18 Mini Coils run Black Note e-liquids well in 70VG/30PG. Try Special Blend or Virginia on the 0.15 ohm Dual Meshed coil at 90W, or on the 0.33 ohm Meshed coil starting at 100W. Choose a low nicotine strength such as 3 mg/ml, because SMOK V18 Mini Coils produce a lot of vapor at these settings. Black Note e-liquids have no added sweeteners, which helps each coil stay clean.

Empty the TFV18 Mini Tank, unscrew the base, remove the old coil and fit the new one firmly into the base. Before filling, drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the exposed cotton of SMOK V18 Mini Coils, refill the tank and let it stand for about five minutes so the wick saturates. Take a few gentle puffs at 80W before raising the power on fresh SMOK V18 Mini Coils.

Replace SMOK V18 Mini Coils when the flavor turns muted or burnt, the vapor thins out, or the coil starts to gurgle. With an unsweetened tobacco e-liquid, a coil typically lasts one to two weeks of normal use, so a 3-pack of SMOK V18 Mini Coils covers several weeks. Sweetened e-liquids and running above the rated wattage both shorten coil life.
