A 70/30 VG/PG freebase e-liquid at lower nicotine strength suits the SMOK RPM 5, because its 0.15 ohm and 0.23 ohm RPM 3 coils run at high wattage and produce dense vapor. Thicker 70/30 blends wick well through the RPM 3 mesh coils. High-strength salt nicotine at these wattages is usually too harsh.

The SMOK RPM 5 uses SMOK RPM 3 mesh coils. The kit includes the 0.15 ohm RPM 3 coil, rated 40 to 80 watts for dense direct-lung vapor, and the 0.23 ohm RPM 3 coil, rated 20 to 45 watts for a more restricted draw. RPM 3 coils and RPM 5 Empty Pods are both sold separately at Black Note.

    I’ve tried so many devices and this is 100% the best I’ve used. But main point for my review is that this company is TOP TIER in customer service. The color device I ordered was not in stock and I got a call from Black Note 30 minutes after placing my order, asking what color I would like instead.
