FAQ's

The adjustable airflow system in the Smok Novo 5 Pod System allows users to customize their vaping experience by easily adjusting the airflow to their preferred level, ranging from a tight to a loose draw.

The 900mAh battery provides up to 1-2 days of moderate use. It recharges fully in about 45 minutes via USB Type-C.

The Smok Novo 5 Pod System uses refillable pods with a 2ml e-liquid capacity. The kit includes two 0.7 ohm Meshed MTL Pods.

The Novo 5 offers an adjustable output range of 5-30W, making it suitable for both MTL and RDL vaping styles.

The Smok Novo 5 Pod System offers a wattage output range of 5–30 watts, allowing for a versatile vaping experience.

The Smok Novo 5 Pod System is equipped with a USB Type-C charging port for efficient and convenient charging.

The device features a 0.69-inch OLED screen that displays essential vaping information.

  • Not charging: Check the USB cable or port for damage. Avoid using high-speed chargers.
  • Leaking pod: Ensure the pod is not overfilled and leave a small air bubble at the top to maintain a vacuum seal.
  • Burnt taste: Lower the wattage and ensure the pod is filled with e-liquid. Replace the pod if necessary.

Yes. The Smok Novo 5 Kit Pod System pairs well with Black Note naturally extracted tobacco e-liquids. It runs 2mL Novo 5 mesh pods at 0.7 ohm across a 5-30W range for mouth-to-lung and restricted direct lung vaping, and that lower resistance suits Black Note 50/50. Black Note salt nicotine is better matched to higher-resistance MTL pods. For the longest coil life, start with Black Note Special Blend or Special Blend 3.0.

Coil buildup on the Smok Novo 5 Kit Pod System depends on the e-liquid more than the device. Heavily sweetened e-liquids can gunk the 0.7 ohm mesh coil in a Novo 5 pod within a few days, while naturally extracted tobacco e-liquids with no added sweeteners typically keep a coil going for one to two weeks under normal use. Black Note Special Blend and Special Blend 3.0 are the coil-friendly options in the Black Note line: no added sweeteners and an additional filtration step, designed to reduce residue on the coil.

    Perfect!

Y'all are the best! I bought a novo 5 vape and they even threw in a bottle of juice! Great price as well. I can't find this specific vape near me. The novo 5 is my favorite. Thanks so much, will definitely order again!

    Random adds not a complaint

The order was received on time. They added some e-juice with the order which is cool but it’s a gross flavor it would be nice if they gave you a heads up and an option but at the same time it was a nice gesture 5 stars

    Wanted to try Novo 5

I was a Smok novo 4 user for a while, and I saw a new Smok novo 5, while looking for an e-juice here at BlackNote. I wanted to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised how much longer it hold the battery charge how it is much easier to fill it out. It does not leak at all. Very happy with this one!

    Finally, top fill is here.

I've run Smok NOVO since NOVO2 and they all leaked either from the side fill plug, separate coils or both. NOVO 5 and 6 solve that. Adjustable airflow and wattage plus I like the design is why I stuck with NOVO through the leaky times. I bought two NOVO5, grey leather and brown leather, and also have a NOVO6 which stays at home since it's a little bulky for the pocket. Only thing that keeps them from being perfect at this point is that 0.8 ohm max. I'm swapping to nic salts and 0.8 ohm is at the very bottom of acceptable range. I got a pack of the dual range 0.4/0.8 ohm and the NOVO5 automatically goes with 0.8 while the NOVO6 allows you to choose.

    Like the vape

I like it but it burns through lots of juice. I had the Novo 4 and Novo X before this and they used less juice but leaked constantly. Now this Novo 5 doesn't leak, but it genuinely uses ridiculous amounts of my vape juice. I've never had a Novo that consumes so much.

Good mod, tank very hard to remove.

I like it, better than the Novo 4. One thing that's a real pain though is the tank. It's impossible for me to remove it without sticking scissors or something into the spout to pry it off. I don't have the hand strength to simply pull it off. So I always keep a small pair of scissors in my purse in case I need to remove it.

    GREAT COMPACT UNIT!!!!!

Looks nice, compact, works very well! Able to get a pull like the bigger units.Fits nicely in any pocket to carry with you! Small drawback- top fill makes a bit of a mess. Have to wipe it down to make sure there's no leaking into the tank port.

    Novo 5

I've been using the novo 4 for years and recently switched to the newer version. It's so much better! No leakage, and I no longer have to buy coils. The coils and mouthpieces are combined. I can't even use my 4 anymore because the difference is so noticeable in every way.

    Easy to use. Discreet.

I like this Novo 5 for a few reasons: 1. it's small and fits easily in any pocket.2. it uses the common USB-C port, 3. it's easy to fill. The only downside is that the cap of a new pod is a bit hard to remove the first few times.
