These coils are designed for the Freemax Galex series and come in two resistance options for both RDL and MTL vaping styles. The press-fit coil installation ensures easy swaps with minimal effort.

The GX Mesh Coils are specifically designed for use with the Freemax Galex Series, including:

  • Galex Nano Kit

  • Galex Kit

  • Galex Pro Kit

  • Galex Nano 2 Kit

They are available in 0.8ohm and 1.0ohm, allowing you to choose based on your preference for MTL (mouth-to-lung) or restricted DTL (direct-to-lung) vaping.

Generally, coils should be replaced when you experience:

  • Decreased flavor quality

  • Reduced vapor production

  • A burnt or dry taste
    With average use, coils typically last 5–10 days, depending on e-liquid type and frequency of vaping.

Yes, the mesh design handles high-VG liquids well, but pairing the right resistance (0.8Ω for more vapor, 1.0Ω for tighter draw) enhances performance.

  • Remove the pod from the device.

  • Pull out the old coil from the pod.

  • Insert a new GX Mesh Coil, making sure it’s properly seated.

  • Prime the coil (let it soak for 5–10 minutes) before vaping to avoid burning.

    Galex Freemax Replacement coils

    I wish these coils held up longer, but they wear out faster since I'm a chain vaper. That's why I keep several devices loaded with different flavors depending on my mood. I'm not really chasing big clouds. I care more about the quality of the juice I'm vaping.

    Quality coils

    The best pod coils I've used. The 0.8 gives the best flavor in my opinion. Also, from my experience the gx-p tastes a touch better, but the gx lasts a bit longer. This pod system has actually replaced my full-size mod as my daily vape.

    Great coils

    These are great little coils and the Freemax is easy to carry around. They produce excellent flavor, better than others I've tried, and can put out big clouds or small ones depending on how you vape. The build quality is also very solid and will last as long as other coils, if not longer. I definitely recommend them.

    Easy set up, good quality

    I really like the Galex. It fits nicely into a pocket or purse, only offers auto draw, and has simple settings to click through. The cap feels a bit tough to remove, but I've gotten used to it. A solid refillable option for salts! These coils last me about a week, since I'm dessert-flavor prone but don't vape it that often :)

    GX-P over the GX

    I know the description says the GX and GX-P are identical, both the .8 and 1 ohm work fine with 50 mg salt nic, though the .8 produces noticeably warmer vapor. If that's your preference.
