Horizon Falcon Coil Compatibility Chart: Which Coils Fit Your Tank

Horizon’s seven tanks fall into four coil groups, and none of Horizon’s pages lists a coil from one group for a tank in another. Horizon says the Falcon King “takes all Falcon coils” and that the Falcon Legend is “compatible with all Falcon M & F series coils.” The Falcon 2 (Falcon II) is listed with one coil, the 0.14Ω Sector Mesh. Sakerz 0.16Ω and 2in1 coils are listed for both the Sakerz and the Sakerz Master, and the Aquila has its own E2 and P4 coils. The chart below covers 7 Horizon tanks and 16 coils, checked against Horizon’s official site.

At a glance
King and Legend: Falcon coils Horizon says the Falcon King takes all Falcon coils but names only two. The Falcon Legend lists 10 Falcon coils, including the newer M6 and M8, which the King page doesn't name.
Falcon 2 is separate Horizon lists one coil for the Falcon 2 (Falcon II): the 0.14Ω Sector Mesh. No other Horizon tank lists the Sector Mesh.
Sakerz: two shared coils The 0.16Ω mesh and 0.17Ω 2in1 mesh coils are listed for the Sakerz and the Sakerz Master. The 0.4Ω mesh is on the Master's page only.
Aquila has its own The Aquila lists the E2 dual mesh 0.16Ω and P4 quad mesh 0.14Ω coils. No other Horizon tank lists them.

How Horizon coil compatibility works

A tank’s name is a weak guide to its coils. Horizon lists Falcon coils for both the Falcon King and Falcon Legend, but the Falcon 2, despite the name, is listed with a different coil. What matters is the coil family Horizon lists on each tank’s page. Grouping the coils by the tanks Horizon lists them for, there are four families:

  1. Falcon coils: the F series (F1, F2, F3) and the M series (M1, M2, M1+, M-Dual, M-Triple, M6, M8). The Falcon Legend page calls the older ones “Falcon M & F series coils” and lists the M6 and M8 with them under its “Falcon Coil” heading.
  2. Sector Mesh: the 0.14Ω coil for the Falcon 2 (Falcon II).
  3. Sakerz coils: the 0.16Ω mesh, 0.17Ω 2in1 mesh and 0.4Ω mesh.
  4. Aquila coils: the E2 dual mesh and P4 quad mesh.

One thing to know before you read the chart: none of the Horizon pages we checked says “not compatible.” Horizon lists which coils each tank takes. When a coil isn’t on a tank’s list, we don’t recommend it for that tank.

The Horizon coil compatibility chart

Each row shows the coils Horizon lists for that tank on its official product page. Tank names link to the tank on Black Note where we carry it. Capacity is Horizon’s spec; “TPD” is the label Horizon gives its 2mL editions.

Horizon Falcon and Sakerz coil compatibility chart: 7 tanks
Tank Coils Horizon lists Coil family Capacity
Falcon Legend All Falcon M and F series coils: M8, M6, M2, M1+, M1, M-Dual, M-Triple, F1, F2, F3 (M8 in the box, M6 as the spare) Falcon 5mL (3.5mL glass included); 2mL TPD
Falcon King “Takes all Falcon coils”; the page names the M1+ and M-Dual Falcon 6mL or 2mL
Falcon (original) F1, F2, F3 and M1 Falcon 7mL and 5mL versions
Falcon 2 (Falcon II) Sector Mesh 0.14Ω only Sector Mesh 5.2mL (3.4mL glass included)
Sakerz Master 0.16Ω mesh, 2in1 mesh 0.17Ω, 0.4Ω mesh Sakerz 5mL (3.5mL glass included); 2mL TPD
Sakerz 0.16Ω mesh, 2in1 mesh 0.17Ω Sakerz 5mL bubble or 3.5mL straight glass; 2mL TPD
Aquila E2 dual mesh 0.16Ω, P4 quad mesh 0.14Ω Aquila 5mL or 3.5mL; 2mL TPD

Where to buy each family: Horizon Falcon coils (M1, M1+, M2 and M6), Falcon 2 Sector Mesh coils, Sakerz coils (0.16Ω, 0.17Ω and 0.4Ω) and Aquila E2 coils.

Not in the chart: Falcon variants such as the Falcon Resin, because Horizon’s site has no page for them and we couldn’t confirm their coil list from an official source.

Falcon coils: the F and M series

Horizon lists Falcon coils for both the Falcon King and the Falcon Legend. The Falcon King page says, under each new coil, “Falcon King tank takes all Falcon coils.” The Falcon Legend page goes further and names all ten: “compatible with all Falcon M & F series coils, as well as two new and innovative coil structures: M6 and M8.”

Falcon M and F series coils
Coil Resistance and power (Horizon) Wick (Horizon) Tanks Horizon lists it for
M8 0.15Ω, 65W to 70W Bamboo pulp cotton Falcon Legend (in the box)
M6 0.15Ω, 65W to 70W Bamboo pulp cotton Falcon Legend (spare in the box)
M1+ 0.16Ω, 75W Bamboo fiber Falcon King, Falcon Legend
M-Dual 0.38Ω, 80W Bamboo fiber Falcon King, Falcon Legend
M1 0.15Ω (±0.03Ω), 70W to 80W 70% cotton, 30% wood pulp Falcon, Falcon Legend; Falcon King via “all Falcon coils”
M2 0.16Ω, 70W to 80W (0.15Ω on its own page) 70% cotton, 30% wood pulp Falcon Legend; Falcon King via “all Falcon coils”
M-Triple 0.15Ω, 80W to 85W 70% cotton, 30% wood pulp Falcon Legend; Falcon King via “all Falcon coils”
F1 0.2Ω, 80W 70% cotton, 30% wood pulp Falcon, Falcon Legend; Falcon King via “all Falcon coils”
F2 0.2Ω, 80W Natural flax fiber Falcon, Falcon Legend; Falcon King via “all Falcon coils”
F3 0.2Ω, 70W Flax fiber and flax paper Falcon, Falcon Legend; Falcon King via “all Falcon coils”

How to read this group:

  • The original Falcon lists four coils on its page: F1, F2, F3 and M1. Horizon doesn’t name the later M coils for it.
  • M6 and M8 are named only on the Falcon Legend page. The Falcon King page says “all Falcon coils” but doesn’t name either, so we can’t confirm them for the King from Horizon’s pages.
  • We carry the M1, M1+, M2 and M6 in Horizon Falcon coils, sold three to a pack. For the Falcon King, the M1, M1+ and M2 fall under Horizon’s “all Falcon coils” line (the King page names the M1+); the M6 is named only for the Legend.

Falcon 2 (Falcon II) and the Sector Mesh coil

Horizon doesn’t list Falcon King coils for the Falcon 2. The Falcon II page names a single coil option, “Falcon 2 sector mesh,” and ships the tank with one Sector Coil. The Falcon King and Falcon Legend pages don’t list the Sector Mesh, and the Falcon Legend’s list of ten compatible coils leaves it out. So for the Falcon 2, buy Sector Mesh coils, and for the King or Legend, buy Falcon M or F coils.

  • Sector Mesh coil: “Sector mesh coil, wood pulp+cotton, 0.14Ω, 70-75W.” Horizon describes it as “a new fan-shaped coil” whose tapered structure forms a bottom-up vapor path.
  • The tank: 5.2mL with a 3.4mL glass also in the box, 56mm long, with a 25mm outer diameter and a 28mm glass tube.
  • Changing the coil: Horizon’s steps are to screw off the tank base, pull out the old coil, install the new coil into the chamber and screw the base back on.

Horizon’s site spells the name “Falcon Ⅱ” and calls the coil the “Falcon 2 sector mesh,” so Falcon 2 and Falcon II are the same tank. Shop the Falcon 2 tank and Falcon 2 Sector Mesh coils.

Sakerz and Sakerz Master coils

Horizon lists the 0.16Ω mesh and 0.17Ω 2in1 mesh coils for both Sakerz tanks. The original Sakerz page says “Pair with two coils” and names both. The Sakerz Master page shows the same two plus a third, the 0.4Ω mesh, in the coil row under its parts diagram.

Sakerz coils
Coil Resistance and power (Horizon) Tanks Horizon lists it for In the box
0.16Ω mesh 0.16Ω, 70W Sakerz, Sakerz Master Pre-installed in both tanks
2in1 mesh 0.17Ω, 70W Sakerz, Sakerz Master Spare coil with the Sakerz
0.4Ω mesh 0.4Ω, 40W Sakerz Master Spare coil with the Sakerz Master
  • Power: Horizon says the Sakerz Master works with mods that have a standard 510 connection “and a power output of 70W or higher.”
  • Changing the coil: Horizon’s Sakerz coil steps are to unscrew the tank base, take out the used coil with the wrench in the box, press the new coil into the chamber, check the o-rings and screw the base back on.
  • The 0.4Ω coil in the original Sakerz: Horizon doesn’t list it there, and its own coil page on Horizon’s site is blank.

We carry all three in Horizon Sakerz coils and the Sakerz Master tank.

Aquila coils: E2 and P4

The Aquila uses its own two coils, and Horizon doesn’t list them for any other tank:

  • E2 dual mesh: 0.16Ω, 60W to 70W, with organic bamboo cotton. It is the pre-installed coil.
  • P4 quad mesh: 0.14Ω, 60W to 70W. It is the spare coil in the box.

Horizon says the Aquila uses a “plug-in-out changing method at the bottom base.” We carry Aquila E2 coils.

What Horizon's pages don't settle

We built this chart from Horizon’s own site only. Its product pages are images with no text, and a few of them disagree or leave gaps. Here’s where, and what we did about it:

  • Falcon coils in the Falcon 2, or Sector Mesh in other tanks. No Horizon page lists either, so the chart doesn’t.
  • M6 and M8 in the Falcon King and original Falcon. Only the Falcon Legend page names them. The King page says “all Falcon coils” without naming them, and the original Falcon page lists four coils.
  • M2 resistance. Horizon’s M2 page and the coil pictured on it read 0.15Ω, while Horizon’s coil chart and the Falcon Legend page list 0.16Ω. Both list 70W to 80W. The M1 is listed at 70W to 80W on its own page and “70±10W” on the original Falcon page.
  • The original Falcon page shows both 7mL and 5mL versions and includes a panel about a squonk RDTA with a postless deck, which doesn’t describe this tank. We left that panel out.
  • The F2 coil page shows F1 images. F2’s specs come from the original Falcon and Falcon Legend pages.
  • Kits: Horizon’s site lists no kit that ships with a Falcon, Sakerz or Aquila tank, its FAQ section reads “Under construction,” and it has no page for older variants such as the Falcon Resin.

If you’re not sure a coil fits your tank, stick with one Horizon lists for it in the chart.

Before you fill a Horizon tank

Every coil in this guide is sub-ohm, from 0.14Ω to 0.4Ω, and runs at high power. Horizon prints its own e-liquid use statements on some tank and coil packaging, so read the box that came with your tank and coils and follow Horizon’s instructions before you fill it.

Frequently asked questions

Horizon doesn’t list them. The Falcon 2 (Falcon II) page names one coil option, the 0.14Ω Sector Mesh, and neither the Falcon King nor the Falcon Legend page lists the Sector Mesh. For the Falcon 2 tank, use Falcon 2 Sector Mesh coils.

Horizon says the “Falcon King tank takes all Falcon coils” and names the M1+ (0.16Ω, 75W) and M-Dual (0.38Ω, 80W) on the King’s page. We carry the M1, M1+ and M2 in Horizon Falcon coils. See the Falcon King tank.

Horizon names the M8 and M6 (both 0.15Ω, 65W to 70W) only on the Falcon Legend page, which ships with an M8 and an M6. The Falcon King page says “all Falcon coils” without naming them, so we can’t confirm the fit from Horizon’s pages. Our Horizon Falcon coils include the M6, which Horizon lists for the Legend.

Horizon lists the 0.16Ω mesh and 0.17Ω 2in1 mesh coils, both 70W, for both tanks. The Sakerz Master also lists a 0.4Ω mesh coil at 40W. All three are in Horizon Sakerz coils, and we carry the Sakerz Master tank.

Yes. Horizon’s site titles the page “Falcon Ⅱ Tank” and names its coil the “Falcon 2 sector mesh.” It is a separate tank from the Falcon King and Falcon Legend, with its own coil. Shop the Falcon 2 tank.

Horizon lists two: the E2 dual mesh at 0.16Ω and the P4 quad mesh at 0.14Ω, both 60W to 70W. No other Horizon tank lists them. We carry Aquila E2 coils.

Editorial method and disclaimer

For adults 21 and older only. Nicotine is an addictive chemical. This guide is educational and does not make medical or stopping-smoking claims. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your tank and coils. Compatibility, resistance, power and capacity details were checked against Horizon Technology’s official product pages on October 15, 2026. Where Horizon’s pages disagree, we say so above. Black Note did not bench-test the coils for this guide.
