Went from Virginia, Burley, Kentucky, Cavendish to finally Latakia. I almost don’t even touch Virginia, Burley and Kentucky anymore and use Cavendish and my new favorite Latakia. So went from the good yet mild flavors to the robust and distinctive flavors especially Latakia. I use them all at 6% but they are quite satisfying and surely way more interesting and flavorful than any cigarettes out there. A singular product with a surprisingly complex flavor profile. The first thing I noticed was a strong, satisfying throat hit (very important). Next, an aged tobacco flavor with bold smoky/peppery undertones. Finally, infinitesimal hints of cream, citric acid and dry sweetness on the exhale. Wonderful! Also, no respiratory irritation like I’ve had with inferior products.
I gave vaping a try again and everyone recommended Black Note for TRUE tobacco flavor. They we’re right! I smoked very strong Perique cigarettes for years, and since this arrived, I’ve been hugely satisfied and haven’t felt the desire for cigs. It doesn’t have the sour, fermented vinegary taste of Perique, but is every bit as complex a tobacco flavor – just different. If I didn’t happen to try Black Note first I would have never started vaping. I have since tried some other flavors and these repulsed me. I have enjoyed cigars and pipe tobacco for quite some time and 3 cigarettes a day. I don’t want any of these fruity tooty ejuice flavors. I started this originally as a substitute to eliminate cigarettes but the flavor is so good it instead cut down quite a bit on my cigar and pipe use, as now instead of sitting outside and freezing and smelling like a cigar I can use Black Note and have a great experience and my wife and kids can be around me again after I’m finished, and I can smoke indoors. I ended up using Juul for a few deep inhaling hits a day, but I use Black Note like I would a cigar or pipe, I retro-hale and relish the flavor taking sips. I’ll never give up cigars and pipes, but very pleased I also discovered this to add to my options. I also appreciate the help from Black Note when starting out getting suggestions for the Nautilus X and suggestions on mods that they feel pair very well with their ejuice.

Put down the Marlboro
5 STARS! After smoking more than 40 years, I was able to put down the Marlboro! Black Note made it possible. I started at 18MG of nicotine and have progressed to reduce that down to 6MG! It’s not a candy flavor, it is the taste of real tobacco – not a chemical tobacco flavor made in a lab. The Quarlet is my everyday vaping liquid and I recommend black note for anyone trying to put down the Marlboro. When you do, you can buy something nice for yourself with all the money you will save 🙂

Absolutely the best tobacco vape liquid on the market. It was easy to move away from cigarettes once I found the notes!

I tried so many e-liquids across different vendors of different countries but never found a taste that matches my beloved cigarettes. Quartet taste like a smokey pipe tobacco and gives a feeling of smoking a cigarette. I love this product. One more thing, I felt the real taste of Quartet on my liquid flow controlled RDA, 0.6ohm, Rayon Fibre, 20Watt, restricted air flow. Other devices were not able to provide the taste of Quartet.

A superior experience!
The most impressive, flavorful & satisfying e liquid I’ve used! A very authentic and a complex blend of tobacco flavors that never get boring. Fantastic with the morning coffee, soda, wine or liquor! Very fine tobacco quality and a subtle smokey, pepper that sets it off perfectly. I can’t say enough how much I enjoy the obvious attention to detail put into Quartet!

Great robust flavor
I got ahold of some Quartet in the sampler package I ordered. It took some getting used to, but I came to really like it. It’s spicy and robust, but at the same time pretty smooth on the exhale. It’s darker, and therefore a bit harder on the coils than the other Blacknote juices, and the price tag is a bit more than I’d like to spend when there are other fantastic juices here for less, but if these don’t bother you, definitely check it out. Especially if you’re into more robust tobacco flavor.

Superlative
Imagine a top-of-the-line Danish pipe, hand carved by a master pipe makers, filled with the finest pipe tobacco selected by a master tobacconist, perfectly tamped, and uniformly lit….take the first drag. That is exactly what Quartet feels like. It’s rich, complex, strong, sophisticated, and definitely not for the meek and timid.
Unfortunately, given its price point …you might as well travel to Copenhagen, find a master carver, have a pipe made, and have it hand filled by a master tobacconist. 🙁
Yeah, it’s not cheap. But good things in life never are. This is by far my favorite liquid out of the Notebook sampler. Unless you’re independently wealthy, I recommend you save this for the end-of-the-day vape — when annoying family members have finally gone to sleep and you’re alone with your thoughts. As a matter of fact, even if you’re stinking rich….you should use this liquid sparingly, so as to enjoy its excellence every time.

Smokey goodness
This stuff is grrrrreat! Definitely a must for the tobacco lover in you. Most of us know this leaf from pipe tobacco. Now from time to time this juice is similar to a burnt coil, but overall it’s a very natural latakia juice. Very very nice indeed.

great flavor
This flavor is by far the best. Jazz is my second favorite, but this one is good too. i just wish it was a little cheaper. In that case i will not get it so often. But it is worth it. I go through a bottle a week of black note. Every flavor is good, but quartet is by far the best.

Great by itself or added to another NET juice
I really enjoyed this product. Smooth and smokey on the inhale and a robust peppery wood flavor on the exhale. I would equate this to a cigar more than a cigarette. I do enjoy this by itself; however, it is also great when you add a little quartet to another NET from blacknote for an extra kick at the end. I have not smoked a cigarette at all since I started vaping and products like this are the reason. This is a strong and acquired flavor, if you’re unsure try legato. Also, goes well with lagavulin 16, cheers!

I believe Quarlet is the best Cigar e-juice available in the market, I love the smoky, peppery and the more earthy feel. This is not my all day long vape but i enjoy this every day after dinner. trust me worth spending few extra bucks for this real gem, this is a complete different flavor from the whole line of blacknote ejuices.

Pricey but a very good vape.
Smokey tiny bit peppery and has a lot of flavor. I like prelude as a everyday, but this is good for those weekend nights.

Pipe smokers, try this
Latakia can be somewhat of an acquired taste, but if you have been a pipe smoker, you are likely familiar with it. Or if you like spicy tobaccos, I would say try it. And if you are lucky enough to have a bit of the retired Cadenza, mix the two for a treat. Less of the Quartet than the Cadenza because the Quartet is a strong flavor.
