Not every review can match the other 5 star options – this literally tastes like house fire soot. I would not recommend starting with this but if you feel like you want to try something that is nothing like the others, this would be it. Not even so much reminiscent to bold non filtered burning tobacco… maybe charred or wood rather.

Quartet is one of the most killer vapes I’ve had in my four years of vaping. It’s hard to find something with that spicy zippy note and it’s right here.
My only complaint about Black Note is that in 2017 it’s time to up those bottles to 60ml’s. I realize they are doing something special & unique but at $35 I’d like love to have this be more than an every once in a while enjoyment.

Top Notch Product from a Top Notch Company
I was a officer in the military and picked up the unhealthy habit of cigar smoking. Did the cigar clubs and everything you can think of. It started to catch up to me physically so I decided to make the healthy life decision of switching over to vape. I tried other companies products and they tasted like garbage. Others gave me heart palpitations. Black Note is top notch and you have nothing to worry about with their product. They are the real thing without the cancer. There is no question. They will take care of your every single need and if there is a problem they make it right. As per quartet, it is exactly as the description states. Peppery, smoky, earthy. It in my opinion is number three out of the flavors black note produces.

Not good. Huge fan of Prelude and especially Sonata. Quartet is indeed very different form the other Blacknote juices. It’s got a medicine-y, perfume-y, chemical-y taste to it. Doesn’t taste “natural” to me (unlike the other Blacknote offerings I’ve had). It even smells odd in the bottle. Fortunately I had some Prelude still around that I was able to cut this with and make it at least vape-able.

Some people question the premium price of the black note juices – and Quartet is the priciest – but nothing else even comes close to the flavour and quality!

So I’m new to vaping and only smoke blacknote products to replace cigarettes. I tried the Quartet using a 1.8 ohm coil and wasn’t too impressed. I then switched to a 0.7 ohm coil and boy did the flavors open up. It’s smokey, slightly sweet, and complex. It’s like drinking cheap whiskey and then switching to 25 year old single malt scotch. After I discovered the true taste of Quartet I bought 2 more bottles right away. I hope they never remove this item from their menu as it is my favorites.

As a smoker of camel light cigarettes for 13 years, I have quit cigarettes all together for 4 months now. I’ve tried all of Black Notes flavors except the menthol (solo) and I must say these liquids are impressive. Legato and Quartet and by far my favorite. Quartet has (to me) this a burning cedar or campfire flavor. It’s better than it sounds and Legato has an ultra light full flavored cigarette taste. These two are the tastes for me. I even mix them sometimes and I’m still impressed. Black note is the real deal.

I could vape this for the rest of my life and never tire of it. Not for everyone; I love the dry, peppery and spicy taste. No other liquid compares to this. Good product, wrong device?
I’m sure this is exotic, but all I’m getting is a very dry, slightly peppery vape. I may need to not sub ohm any of these juices, but this one makes it more apparent. The Prelude & Sonata can be below 1.0 for me, however. There’s a good chance I’m wasting my juice in a sub ohm tank/coil. Might be able to up the coil resistance above 1.0, tighten up the airflow, then see if they flavor really comes out the way it should.

I Ordered quartet for the first time. Received it a few days ago. Definenitly has that smoky,peppery taste. Almost has what I’d describe as a hint of leather to it. It’s smooth but way stronger flavor than the other liquids. It’s not a all day vape for my taste. However, I do like to use it as a mixer when I’m running low on any of the my other Blacknote liquids. Would I reorder it? No, it’s just not up my alley. But that’s not to say it’s a bad product. I tried the Quartet as soon as it became available, having vaped Forte for about 6 months.I keep a small amount of Forte on hand, even mix the two from time to time to change things up, BUT…..Quartet is my new mainstay due to it’s robust flavor profile, stronger taste and drier finish. This is not a sugary mix, and most resembles a real tobacco experience. Perfect if you are weaning from cigs or cigars.

First off, I Love the e-juice your company manufactures… It is amazing!!!
But, PG messes with my skin around my mouth and nose. I am forced to vape another company’s e-juice because of the irradiation encountered on my lips, above my mustache, and nose.
For some reason PG irritates my skin surrounding my mouth making BN juices unusable for a week or two.
I always look forward to being able to vaping BN but I can’t because ½ my face feels like it is on fire. I’m not 100% sure, but I do believe it is the PG.
Before I found BN I only vaped VG juice because of the “burn”.
I really wish you would consider a 75/25% blend, or even better yet, a 100% VG e-juice, I would adjust my hardware accordingly.
Please consider my suggestion.

I’ve tried many different brands of Tobacco but after trying Blacknote the difference in quality is obvious. There’s Black Note and there’s everything else.

I can appreciate the blend and the flavouring, and it definitely would have an appeal to vapers searching for a distinct, intense, bold flavour. Not a flavour for me, personally, but I can see this as a great option for vapers wanting these flavour characteristics.

In earlier posts I stated that I was having difficulties surrounding flavor in my sub-ohms, but I finally got it right!!
Quartet flavor has always been perfect in the Nautilus tank but I was looking for a fuller hit.
I’m now using a 75 watt sub-ohm with an Aspire Milo using TC (temperature control) with a .5 oHm coil set at 205 degrees and the flavor is perfect, just like in a non-sub-ohm.
I’m down to .3% in Quartet and am very satisfied.
When I tell my co-workers that I’m spending $35 for 30ml’s of e-juice they think I’m crazy, but they also agree that BN juices are the best tobacco e-juice ever but most of them use fruttie, fruit loops, and bakery flavored e-juices which I don’t like…. I want a cigarette replacement and Quartet hits it on the mark for me.

Sure, there are allot of less expensive alternatives out there, but, if you want to compare “apple to apples” you can’t…. BN is the only apple!!!

Above and beyond all expectations
Tried to quit smoking and take up vaping a couple times and failed, the sweet/fruity juices were fine but didn’t address my cravings. I decided to try out Black Note to see if it was something that could replicate the taste and throat hit of a cigarette, so I ordered a 30ml bottle of Quartet at 12mg.
I have now used it for 48 hours and I can’t even remember where I put the pack of cigarettes and I don’t seem to care. The flavor is pretty much how you can imagine it be by the description – on the inhale I get a very smooth, yet smokey campfire like flavor with the full body throat hit that I’m used to. The exhale then turns into a rich pepper/wood finish. Perfect for anyone who is trying to lay off the cigarettes and replicate the taste and sensation that the desert and fruit flavors can’t match.

Excellent and agreed what most of people said about it in the review, but very expensive…there are some other good alternatives out there (Search for Google NET Tobacco), not as good as this one, but will save you bunch of $$ in long run. Wish they make this cheaper! and this also goes for other Black Note products too…that’s only thing stopping me ordering them more often….hey after all, most of us here trying to quit smoking, not go bankrupt, right?

This company is the best. I’ve searched for 8 years… for a true substitute for cigarettes. This is it. All unique in their flavor profiles. All have a true flavor and feel, and the quality is just so important to the overall experience. Black Note is the only company I’ll purchase eliquid from, ever. Nobody else knows what the heck they’re doing when they claim “tobacco” flavors. I’ve been so frustrated for so long with these people and wasted soooo much money based on false, fake advertising for “tobacco” flavored eliquids. I had just about given up when I found this product on another company’s website which shall remain nameless, but I am grateful for them having these BN products. If you’ve never had Black Note- any flavor – you won’t believe how real this stuff is. This is the only tobacco eliquid that exists on the planet.

I have smoked on and off and then started dipping snuff being I worked offshore and smoking was not as easy of a way for me to get my nicotine. Dipping is such a nasty habit so I started vaping. I started out with the 5 bottle sample pack then ordered a 30 ml. of Quartet. Have never experienced such a truly wonderful taste sensation without all the fruity cover up flavors added to all other vape juice I have tried. Very satisfying WHOLE flavor package. Thanks BLACK NOTE for making a vape juice that I feel safe using due to the lack of ALL the added chemicals to other vapes that I have tried.

The first time I reviewed quartet I noticed a funny taste . I was not sure if it was the juice or my device, well it was the device. Since then I`ve been using it on a regular basis and noticed that it burns slower than other juices justifying the slightly higher price. The 39.00 price has been reduced to 35.00 making it more attractive.

This is a robust, authentic, and unique blend. It’s amazing how BlackNote achieves the flavor of this liquid. The flavor is very rich and smoky. Quite distinct from the other flavors. If you’re reserved about the price differencd, don’t be. It’s priced higher because it costs them more to make. You will know where you’re extra $5 went as soon as you get your first rip of Quartet- The deep, rich flavor. Do yourself a favor and try this stuff because although I can’t say it’s the best (all Blacknote flavors are amazing) it’s something you will crave and want to keep a stash of! Kudos to BN!

Pure, but not my favorite
Quartet definitely has a smoky and spicy flavor, and also is probably the most robust Black Note flavor I’ve tried. I really like it as a change up to my preferred Forte and Legato, but Quartet is not an all day vape for me.

I have been a smoker for 16 years and due to the obvious health risks and in Australia the high cost of a packet I decided it was time to quit. I have tried every different way to quit before, however I love the taste of cigarettes so when reviewing online I was told Black Note was the only way to go. I certainly was not disappointed!! Quartet is a delicious blend of tobacco and the flavour suits my style perfectly. It really does make me feel like I am drinking a whiskey like Lagavulin with a smokey, smooth oak flavour. It may be a bit much for someone looking for a simple tobacco taste, but for those after a little more this is a definite choice. The price may be more than Black Note’s other selections, but it is worth it.

Since the very first time I tried Black Notes’ Notebook e-juices, I have not vaped another e-juice.
Quartet is my favorite, I used to vape it only as a treat because of the $10 price difference compared to Sonata (my second favorite).
I was mixing Quartet & Sonata to make my Quartet last longer and still get the real tobacco flavor, and as a real treat I filled my tank with 100% Quartet, especially when putting a new coil in.
But, since the price has been recently lowered, it will be all I will purchase.
I use an Aspire Nautilus tank because the Black Note juice flavor is perfect. I have tried it in my UDCT1.5ohm cartomizer and it is equally as good but allot more work in the priming aspect and there is a 3.5ml juice waste when the carto goes bad.
I puff on my Nautilus all day long and I usually get a full week from one coil, sometimes even 8 or 9 days. That fact is a true testimony of the quality of BN e-juices!! No impurities to muck up your coils!! I used to go through the same coils every 2 or 3 days with all other e-juices.

I’ve been vaping Quartet the past few days and it is a terrific contrast to my daily juice which is Forte. Quartet is smooth and very much like the tobacco I used to smoke. I love the smoky “note”, subtle but enough there to remind me of roll your own cigs. Once again BN you’ve come up with a great juice! Thanks!

Ok, right up front, not my favorite flavor. Simply a bit too “distinctive” as a stand alone for me. But… I keep buying it, just not too often. I use (maybe 20%) it to add a bit of punch to the milder flavors like Sonata or Prelude. So if you have tried it, and shied away, give that a whirl. You may find yourself ordering again… just not too often.

Throughout the trying year of 2016, I found myself in a few challenging situations that brought about that old desire to light up again.. and even after vaping for two years and finally finding blacknote, I never thought that after 25 years I would ever touch a cigarette again.. but as in life, we all fall back into bad habits from time to time, and I did go back to smoking for a couple of weeks… With much regret.. But then, I noticed a new blend, Quartet which I couldn’t believe could ever top my fave; Legato,… As I’ve been vaping this for more then a week, I couldn’t even imagine any good reason to ever touch a cigarette again, it is so deep, and rich and complex,… All of the beauty of what tobacco has to offer, without the price of what one would have to pay with their health….
