OXVA Xlim Pod Compatibility Chart: Which Pods Fit Your Xlim

Most Xlim devices share pods. OXVA’s device pages carry lines like “XLIM Pods All Compatible” and “XLIM PRO 2 is compatible with all XLIM series pods.” Grouping the pods by what OXVA lists them for, the Xlim family has these pod types:

1. XLIM Top Fill Cartridge: the standard top-fill pod in 2mL or 3mL and 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω or 1.2Ω. Black Note sells it as the “Xlim V3” pod. OXVA’s product pages call it the Top Fill Cartridge, though OXVA’s own image file for it is named V3. A newer UNITECH 3.0 version comes in the same sizes and resistances.
2. XLIM ABT Cartridge: the anti-burn pod for the Xlim Pro 4.
3. XLIM Top Fill Cartridge Stainless Steel (SS): the pod for the Xlim Pro 2 DNA.
4. XLIM EZ Cartridge: a top-fill pod with an “open, fill, close” red filling port, in 2mL or 3mL.
5. XLIM Empty Cartridge and XLIM Replacement Coil: a 2mL pod that takes 0.4Ω to 1.2Ω coils.
6. XLIM V2 Cartridge: the older side-fill pod in 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω.

The Xlim C sits outside all of this. It uses an XLIM C cartridge with changeable XLIM C coils, and OXVA’s Xlim Pro and Xlim SE pages say the Top Fill and V2 cartridges “are both compatible with any XLIM series,” with the note “Except XLIM C.” Nexlim, Vprime and Origin devices use their own pods and coils, covered further down.

One thing to know before you read the chart: OXVA mostly lists what a pod is for. The one place it says “not compatible” is the EZ pod page, which says the Xlim SE, Xlim SQ and original Xlim are “not compatible with 0.4Ω EZ Pods.” When a pod isn’t on a device’s list, we don’t recommend it for that device.

Each row shows the pods OXVA lists for that device on an official OXVA page: the device’s own page, a pod page’s compatibility list, OXVA’s product comparison chart or OXVA’s FAQ. Device names link to the kit on Black Note where we carry it. Output is OXVA’s spec.

Where to buy the pods: OXVA Xlim V3 top fill pods (the XLIM Top Fill Cartridge), XLIM SS top fill pods (Xlim Pro 2 DNA), Nexlim replacement cartridges and Vprime replacement cartridges.

Not in the chart: the XLIM Crystal, which OXVA’s FAQ names once but which has no product page on oxva.com, so we couldn’t confirm its pods. Origin devices take Unicoil coils in their own cartridges and have their own table below.

The Xlim V3 pod is OXVA’s XLIM Top Fill Cartridge, and OXVA lists it for almost every Xlim. OXVA’s pod page lists it for the Xlim Go 2, Pro 2 DNA, SQ Pro 2, Pro 2, Classic Edition, Go, SQ Pro, Pro and SE 2. The Pro 3, 3 Ultra, Go Lite and Xlim 4 list it on their own pages, and the Xlim Pro 4’s FAQ says it takes “all XLIM cartridges, including XLIM ABT cartridges and existing XLIM cartridges.”

The pod comes in 2mL and 3mL sizes, sold in packs of three by OXVA. We carry all four resistances in OXVA Xlim V3 top fill pods.

The 0.4Ω pod is the one to check. OXVA’s FAQ says “The 0.4 cartridge is compatible with the XLIM series of devices, starting with XLIM PRO.” The Xlim Pro, SQ Pro, SE 2, Go and Classic Edition pages and every other 30W Xlim page list 0.4Ω. The original Xlim, Xlim SE, SE Classic Edition and Xlim SQ are 25W devices, and OXVA lists only 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω pods for them.

UNITECH 3.0: OXVA’s newer Top Fill Cartridge UNITECH 3.0 has the same sizes and resistances. Its page lists the Xlim Pro 3, 3 Ultra, Go 2, Go Lite, SQ Pro 2, Pro 2, Go and SQ Pro, and the Xlim 4 and Pro 4 pages add those two devices. No OXVA page lists the UNITECH 3.0 version for the Xlim Pro, Classic Edition, SE 2 or Pro 2 DNA.

Four Xlim pod types come with conditions. Here is what OXVA states for each:

• XLIM Top Fill Cartridge Stainless Steel (SS): OXVA lists it as the “BEST PAIRINGS” pod for the Xlim Pro 2 DNA, in 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω (2mL), marked “For anti-burn device only.” The DNA’s anti-burn and Flavor Replay functions need it. OXVA doesn’t list the SS pod on any other device’s page, so we only recommend it for the DNA. We stock XLIM SS top fill pods in 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω.
• XLIM ABT Cartridge UNITECH 3.0: ships with the Xlim Pro 4. OXVA says anti-burn “requires both an Anti-Burn device and an Anti-Burn cartridge,” and that ABT pods work “for normal use” in “all currently available XLIM devices,” without the protection. You can spot one by its four contact points, the ABT marking on the base and a red silicone ring at the mouthpiece.
• XLIM EZ Cartridge: 2mL or 3mL, 0.4Ω to 1.2Ω. OXVA lists it for the Go 2, Pro 2 DNA, SQ Pro 2, Pro 2, Pro, SQ Pro, Go, Classic Edition, SE 2, SE, SQ and original Xlim, and adds that the SE, SQ and original Xlim are “not compatible with 0.4Ω EZ Pods.” The Pro 3, 3 Ultra and Go Lite list it on their own pages.
• XLIM Empty Cartridge and Replacement Coil: a 2mL empty pod (two per pack) and coils in 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω (five per pack). OXVA lists them for the Pro 4, Pro 3, 3 Ultra, Go 2 and Go Lite on their own pages, and for the Pro 2, SQ Pro 2, Pro 2 DNA, Classic Edition, Go, SQ Pro, Pro and SE 2 on the pod page.

On the Xlim Pro 2 DNA, OXVA’s DNA page says the standard Top Fill, EZ and V2 pods are compatible but don’t support the Anti-Burn and Flavor Replay functions. See the Xlim Pro 2 DNA kit for the device.

OXVA’s pages for the original Xlim, Xlim SE and Xlim SQ show the XLIM V2 Cartridge, a 2mL pod that refills from the side. OXVA’s specs for it are 0.6Ω (20W to 25W), 0.8Ω (12W to 16W) and 1.2Ω (10W to 12W).

• Original Xlim, Xlim SE and SE Classic Edition: 900mAh, 25W devices. OXVA lists V2 and Top Fill pods in 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω.
• Xlim SQ: ships with V2 pods, and OXVA says “XLIM SQ pods are compatible with the whole XLIM family.” The Xlim Pro page lists the SQ for Top Fill pods too, again in 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω.
• Xlim C: uses an XLIM C cartridge with changeable XLIM C coils in 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω. OXVA excludes it from the Top Fill and V2 pod lists, so buy XLIM C coils for it.

V2 pods go forward, too. The Xlim Pro, SQ Pro, SE 2, Go, Classic Edition, Pro 2, SQ Pro 2 and Go 2 pages all list the V2 Cartridge. The Pro, SQ Pro, SE 2 and Go pages also list OXVA’s prefilled Xlim cartridges.

Nexlim: all four Nexlim devices (Nexlim, Nexlim 2, Nexlim 2 Mini and Nexlim Go) take the 4mL Nexlim Cartridge (2mL in TPD markets), its UNITECH 3.0 version, and the Nexlim Empty Cartridge with Nexlim Replacement Coils, per OXVA’s compatible models list. The cartridges come in 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω, and OXVA describes the Nexlim Cartridge as dual mesh: both meshes fire together in Boost mode and alternate in Eco mode.

Only the original Nexlim page mentions Xlim pods: “Switch freely between NeXLIM and XLIM pods with a simple adaptor.” The adaptor isn’t in OXVA’s Nexlim package list, and the Nexlim 2, 2 Mini and Go pages don’t mention Xlim pods. Nexlim cartridges are not listed for any Xlim. See the Nexlim kit for the device.

Vprime: OXVA lists two pods that cross over between the Vprime and Vprime 2: the 5mL Vprime Cartridge in 0.2Ω, 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω, and the 6mL Vprime Dual Mesh Cartridge in 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω (2mL in TPD markets). OXVA rates the Dual Mesh pods at roughly 0.2Ω (the 0.4Ω pod) and 0.3Ω (the 0.6Ω pod) in Boost mode. There’s also a 2mL Vprime Empty Cartridge with 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω coils. We carry Vprime replacement cartridges in 0.2Ω, 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω, and the Vprime kit.

OXVA’s Origin devices use a refillable cartridge with replaceable Unicoil coils rather than Xlim-style pods. OXVA’s Unicoil line covers a 0.2Ω mesh, 0.3Ω mesh, 0.5Ω mesh, a 1.0Ω coil for MTL and an RBA for your own builds.

OXVA rates the 0.3Ω mesh Unicoil at 30W to 40W, the 0.5Ω mesh at 20W to 25W and the 1.0Ω at 10W to 15W. Our OXVA Unicoil replacement coils come in 0.3Ω and 0.5Ω mesh and are out of stock right now. OXVA doesn’t list Unicoils for any Xlim, Nexlim or Vprime device.

We built this chart from OXVA’s own pages only, and a few of them disagree or leave gaps. Here’s where, and what we did about it:

• An older FAQ line on 0.4Ω pods. OXVA’s FAQ says the 0.4Ω Top Fill pod is “ONLY compatible with XLIM PRO/XLIM SQ PRO/XLIM SE 2/XLIM GO/XLIM CLASSIC currently.” Every newer Xlim page lists 0.4Ω, so we read that line as written before those devices launched and followed the device pages.
• “All compatible” has limits. Several Xlim pages say they take all XLIM pods, but other OXVA pages exclude the Xlim C, keep 0.4Ω EZ pods out of the SE, SQ and original Xlim, and mark SS pods for anti-burn devices only. We followed the narrower statement each time.
• V2 pods in the newest devices. OXVA’s comparison chart lists “V1/V2/Top Fill” for the Pro 3 and 3 Ultra, but their own pages list only Top Fill, EZ and empty pods. The Xlim 4, Go Lite and Pro 4 pages don’t mention V2. None of the OXVA pages we checked describe a V1 pod.
• ABT pods in other Xlims. OXVA says they work “for normal use” in “all currently available XLIM devices” but doesn’t name them, so the chart lists ABT for the Pro 4 only.
• The UNITECH 3.0 pod list leaves out the Xlim Pro, Classic Edition, SE 2 and Pro 2 DNA. OXVA doesn’t say why.
• The Nexlim adaptor isn’t in the Nexlim package list, and no OXVA page we could check names it or says where to get it.
• Unicoil 0.2Ω wattage is 55W to 60W on the Origin X page and 40W to 60W on the Origin 2 page.

If you’re not sure a pod fits your device, stick with one OXVA lists for it in the chart. If the pod doesn’t seat firmly, don’t force it.

OXVA’s own FAQ recommends salt nicotine for the 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω Xlim pods and pod-friendly freebase for the 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω pods. As a general rule (our guidance, not OXVA’s), the 1.2Ω pods and the 1.0Ω Unicoil run at low power with a tight, mouth-to-lung draw that suits Black Note salt nicotine and Black Note 50/50 tobacco e-liquids. Lower-resistance pods and coils, such as the 0.6Ω and 0.4Ω Xlim pods, Nexlim pods in Boost mode, Vprime pods and the mesh Unicoils, run at higher power with a looser draw and pair with thicker 70VG/30PG e-liquid. OXVA’s FAQ also suggests a 50/50 PG/VG ratio to help prevent leaks, so if a thicker blend wicks slowly in a 2mL pod, step back to 50/50.
