2nd favorite, a bit more aggressive than Sonata
I love Legato. It’s a bit closer to full Marlboro tobacco than the lighter Sonata. Like all Black Note tobacco-based juices, there’s none of the (disgusting, IMHO) sticky sweetness that makes other brands kind of cloying. I want to replace my Marlboro Lights, not smoke dessert! I can’t find a Brand that competes with Black Note for smokers who want to vape instead but like the tobacco flavor.

Recommendation: A lot of people benefit from the reviews of the various e-liquid flavors. They are very informative and make for a good initial guide to those who are getting to know Blacknote products. But the review criteria (products) falls short in one very important way. I suggest you add a review spot for customer service. I have been a loyal Blacknote customer for a few years – I buy nothing else. My loyalty was initially based on the superior products. But this loyalty has been cemented more-so based on superior customer service. I order on-line as I live in the Pacific Northwest. Ordering anything on line carries risks. Mistakes are going to happen, or at times you’ll run into stock problems, with every on-line retailer. It’s just the nature of things. But what separates one company from another is how they respond to problems. While I’ve only run into problems with my orders only a few times, every time this company has responded in an extraordinary and personal way. Responses are quick and highly effective, even if it’s just an inquiry (vs an ordering or delivery problem). So please allow your true colors to shine and add a customer service review criteria. My new go to tank for Black Note juices is the Cleito EXO. It has great flavor and is very economical on juice consumption too. Legato is may favorite flavor so far, it’s nutty mellow flavor is not exactly like a cigarette, but the closest thing I have tried so far. I was never a heavy smoker, so I got the .6 level. If I feel like easing up on the nicotine level, I add a few drops of .0 Prelude to cut the dose down to about .3 in my mod. The combination is wonderful. All other “tobacco flavor” brand juices I have tried left me gagging with their sweetness and aftertaste. Black Note is hands down the most refined tobacco flavor for vaping. Sonata is also a refreshing flavor I alternate with. But I have to say, Legato mixed (Sometimes) with Prelude is hands down my favorite. Thank you!

By far the best e-liquid I’ve ever tried. It’s not even close in my opinion. I purchased the ensemble package and have only tried the Legato liquid so far but it’s excellent. As smokey as it gets
This is a straight up smokey flavor. Very little sweetness outside of that present from the pg/vg but I imagine if you were to make a hickory smoke flavored juice that this would be it. Like firewood I mean. It stands from the other flavors in that the differences aren’t so subtle and rather in your face. Like all my reviews I rate this 4 stars because it is superb quality and the flavor is genuine but it’s very love-it or hate-it. I personally don’t enjoy it all that much

Legato satisfies like smoking, but without the stink taste.
Being new to vaping (2 months) I gave this 4 stars, only because I’m not experienced enough to state this is the end all be all of tobacco flavor or essence e-liquids. I tried Legato after trying Prelude. It’s a tough call to say which I like more. Both feel like smoking, or what I found enjoyable about smoking, only without the lousy taste and smell. The Prelude has what I’d say is a ever so slight nutty sweetness to it, but it’s not at all a flavor, it still clearly tastes like tobacco. Kind of like how the smell of good quality, unburnt tobacco, may taste. If that makes any sense. There’s still 3 more flavors to try in my Instrumenthol sampler, but at this point I’ve found my actual tobacco e-liquid with Prelude and Legato.

I’m still amazed at the taste and quality of these e-liquids. Former smoker here and not sure I would’ve been able to do it without black note. This is so close to a cigarette it boggles the mind. I have tried other e-liquid that claimed to tase like tobacco. NONE come even close to Legato. Nice earthy tones that are almost like a certain brand that rymes with tomorrow. Throat hit is there, but not too there. Its the flavor, yes the flavor. I like it so much better than actual cigarettes. Almost like smoking a Havana Cigar. But the smell on your cloths is not there! I have completely switched over to vaping. I just hope that they can keep up with their supply as I know that the demand is there to wipe them out if too many people figure this out!

I tried Legato as part of the Classical Notebook. Out of all the flavors, it was my least favorite and probably the only one I will have to give away or toss in the garbage. To me, it tasted more like an old coil way overdue for replacement. Perhaps that is the intention with the earthy flavor note but I just cannot enjoy it. Prelude is my favorite and this is probably the most opposite to it out of all four, so perhaps that’s why it is not for me.

My personal favorite
I’m not big on the fruity e-juice flavors, I like a sweet gourmand here and there but I favor the tobacco flavors for eliquid.
I’ve tried dozens of brands but once I found Black Note my search was nearly over. Black Note is leaps & bounds superior to all the other tobacco juices I’ve tried, flavor, quality, presentation, shipping and customer service, Black Note is second to none.
Then all that was left was finding which flavor I liked best. I purchased the sample box with the four non menthol flavors and a bottle of the Quartet, I thoroughly enjoyed all the flavors but Legato won it out for me. That natural leafy, earthy flavor complimented with just the right amount of sweetness!
I still switch it up here and there and get a bottle of Sonata, Quartet of Forte here and there for some variety and because I enjoy those a lot as well…
But Legato though, art in a bottle!

The Best!
It’s now been 3 months since I first purchased the sampler, and I’ve been vaping all of them on a regular basis. I can now definitely say that Legato is my favorite. I love its flavor… it has a slightly more earthy note to it and is slightly less “dry” tasting than Forte, which was the other one that was at the top for me. Excellent ejuices. I love Black Note!

Love this flavor
Legato was thr first flavor I tried, and it hit me hard. It has a very authentic tobacco flavor coupled with a “woody” and “earthy ” taste. Black note is awesome.

I do enjoy this product. Yes, the tobacco flavor isn’t very prominent but it’s there. I especially notice that smooth, subtle flavor after loading up a new coil to the tank. Those first couple of days are heaven.

Mild, Nutty Goodness
Legato is more of a mild tobacco, with a bit of a nutty aftertaste. However, I found the nutty aftertaste quite pleasant. Can’t quite put my finger on it. Not my favorite, but I still very much enjoyed this e-liquid and I would consider getting again.

Legato had a smokey/nutty taste I didn’t care for. I tried it in a sampler with Sonata and Forte, both of which I liked, and Prelude, my new all-time favorite. I will use Legato as a mixer with the others. Still a fine e-juice from Black Note, the makers of the very best e-juices.

Best flavor for me. Period
This is my favorite juice. The tobacco notes are the strongest.I am not capable like many to distinguish the subtle notes of each juice, however this one reminds me a bit of pipe tobacco (Flying Dutchman, that used to come in a teal and black tin can). Flavorful and bold with a smokiness bar to none. It’s #1 for me. I give 5 stars because can’t give more!

I already count one failed attempt to quit smoking by using vaporizer.the reason is the liquid.I had tried many but none could even get close to the taste of real cigarettes.
This time I tried again to quit but I run an extensive research on liquids.I found black note. I have it a try. One thing I have to tell you.these guys over there have really made it.
This is the only juice out there which can really make you think why you even started smoking in the first place.
