Legato to me has a very rich smokey flavor. To me it’s simaliar to prelude. However, the smokey flavor is the distinguishing factor. Good for a change but still loving prelude the most so far.

You get four stars for being real tobacco however because the PG / VG dilution the tobacco taste is not strong enough. Legato is authentic but for $5.99 another company has done a better job, however they extracted nicaraguan tobacco / fire cured tobacco which is as powerful as it gets, and Legato wasn’t meant to be that strong. 90 day money back is not needed for me because though i will throw it away it was worth every penny to try it, and i will maybe try the strongest flavor Black note has in the future to see if that does the job.

I had thought my favorite was Forte, but Legato now takes the cake. I was a Camel smoker before, and although I’m not saying that Legato tastes like or reminds me of Camels… but I figure it gives some sort of frame of reference regarding my tastes.

This was this first blacknote flavor I tried and I was surprised when it tasted like old ashes. I tried as much I could stomach before I had to empty my tank and replace it with what I was using prior. It tainted my pen and that’s the only flavor I can taste now. My favorite of all e-juices, I’ve tried a few of the best reviewed. I have over 45 yrs smoked Three Castles (a discontinued Virginia roll up), American Spirit roll up, Camel ‘straights’, a few French roll ups, some Cuban cigars, even Louisiana’s Picayunes (lol). The pure tobacco flavor of Black Note’s Kentucky can only be experienced. I haven’t bought tobacco in 7 – 8 months now and have lowered nicotine content to .3, from 1.8!

Very Robust Flavor
This is one of my least favorite from black note. I’m a huge fan of prelude and adagio. This one was a little much for me. I haven’t been a regular smoker in some time, I quit about 3 years ago. If I would have found this flavor right after I quit I would have loved it. A good analogy would be that this is straight espresso and I’m more of a dark roast with milk kind of guy. The quality was amazing, like all black note products, the flavor just didn’t tickle my fancy.

In my opinion its the only Black Note flavor that you might want to switch to a new coil when changing eliquid flavors because its that distinct; in a good way. Kentucky has to be one of the more difficult tobacco varieties to replicate in an e-liquid, but Black Note have done another extraordinary job! Reminds me of a cigar called “rum-soaked crooks” I smoked years ago. As a former pipe and small cigar person, this one is hitting the spot. I was thinking there never would be a way to achieve this without combustion of the tobacco. But you proved me wrong. My favorite so far, but I plan to try them all! Quality Note
I am fairly new to the vape the scene, but was a smoker for a number of years (I always enjoyed Tobacco and its smell). I started vaping in order to quit smoking and this has been the perfect solution.
It’s been 3 months and I haven’t had a single cigarette. This is the closest thing I have tried thus far to an actual Tobacco taste and buzz.
Although I plan to eventually not even vape anymore, I would still highly recommend this flavour to anyone looking for a bold blend.

Awesome taste
I am a huge fan of Legato. Really good taste and cloud. Only complaint is that it only comes in 50/50 blend and the liquid is a little thick. So I go through coils quicker. Outside of that it is a very deep, rich experience!!

Deep and satisfying
I love this flavor along with Encore, Bravura, Adaigo, and I do use the new Quartet, but only in sub ohm as the flavor is not able to appreciate any other way. This is a strong flavor and satisfies the palette. Deep flavor not that light barely detectable stuff for people who used to smokes light ciggs. All products vape with tons of vapor.

IT STANDS WITH A FOOT IN THE CIGAR RELM
For me, Legato takes a bold step into the cigar field…a pronounced boldness wrapped in a nutty, woodsy flavor. This is my change of pace vape, it goes great with a JD on the rocks. Like all the Black Note line, nothing makes you say “Yuk”…all the differences between the flavors are simply different “notes”…I have moved almost exclusively to the Black Note line of products….especially since I discovered that some artificial flavorings from other companies, have adverse effects on my lungs. Since Black Note’s products have nothing artificial (except the nicotine) added, I’ve notices a marked improvement with my lungs. Well worth the price!

Challenged my palate
This was the last of the four Notebook flavors that I tried. It is the most cigarlike. Very, very earthy. I was a smoker of American Spirits before. It started out a little harsh for me. I ended up mixing it with Forte to mellow it out.
Now I really like it on its own. It’s more like an end of the day vape. Absolutely quality product- you can just tell. All of these flavors are incredibly complex and evocative.

First Black Note I Have Purchased… And The Verdict Is…..
Very smooth. I don’t taste much of a tobacco flavor. To me it has a light smoke flavor but is more earthy. Reminds me of smoking a Marbarlo Ultralight. From research I have done this is a very high quality juice. I’m not saying this is bad and it is definitely worth trying and maybe will be the flavor you love. For me, it just didn’t please my taste buds 100%. But, I am placing an order for another Black Note flavor!

Clean but with a nutty twist!
Another one of Blacknote’s e-liquids that I would recommend to anyone. We have a hard time choosing a liquid, sometimes, because they are all so good! Legato has a very clean yet slightly nutty taste that will please ex-smokers.

I’d Rather Fight Than Switch
After 40 years of analog (mostly Camels of various style), I switched to vaping 7 months ago at the suggestion of my cardiologist(!). And began a search for something that would give me the tobacco experience that would keep me with the vape. I purchased samples from Halo, Eve, Vapor-Fi and Black Note initially, and have tried a few others since. Legato is hands down my favorite tobacco e-liquid; I vape it more than half the time (switching off occasionally for something not tobacco flavored) . . . but I always come back to this. Works wonderfully if you open up the airflow and swirl it around your mouth like a fine cigar. Hits just right if you close down the airflow and drag it into your lungs like a cigarette. This is the tobacco I think I was always searching for, and this is the best way to enjoy it.

My Favorite, Hands Down
The full, earthy smoke flavor here reminds me of a good Islay scotch (which it pairs extremely well with, by the way). I wouldn’t recommend this as an all day vape, but holy hell is it good in a dripper in the evenings. I’ve sampled every blend Black Note has to offer, and this is my #1. Simply incredible.
