Never disappointing. Always a nice rich flavor. I am going down in nicotine levels. Other vaping liquids disappoint in flavor and throat sensation when nicotine is diminished, but not Black Note. Same flavor and satisfaction from 18mg to the 6mg I am at now. I am partial to a slightly sweeter vape occasionally and this satisfies that. It is not too sweet that it forgoes the tobacco flavor though. I use it along side the cigar liquid, so it is a nice change up.

As far as Black Note’s customer service and quality, I must agree with all that have mentioned what a superior company Black Note is to do business with. I made the mistake of trying some of the sweet vapes from a lesser quality company and I was so dissatisfied at how the tootie-fruity concoctions polluted my coil and left my pipe unvapable. As you might guess, I put these fowl super-sweet concoctions on the shelf and will probably give them away to whoever will take them or put them in the bin, whichever comes first. However Legato in my opinion is the M.V.P. of the bunch. It has a flavor to me reminiscent of very high end cigar or pipe tobacco prior to lighting it. Almost like if you had it in a ziplock and were able to inhale such a big amount that it produced a mist. You really can’t go wrong with any of them but if you want a sweet type of hit this is not it. Go Virginia for that. I even like mixing them for a mix in medley lol! If they ever used FedEx instead of U.S.P.S. they would BE ON FIRE AND UNTOUCHABLE!

Of all of the Black Note flavors that I vaped via my purchase of The Notebook, Legato is my favorite, followed by, in this order, Sonata and Solo, Prelude and Forte, and lastly Quartet which was a mite too “woodsy” for my taste. So I’ve purchased a 30ml bottle of Legata last Friday and plan to snag a bottle of Sonata and Solo (for mixture with one-another) soon. I’m also considering grabbing some omg of Legato and adding my own salt-nic. I’ve already added some salt-nic to a couple of the 12mg freebase bottles that came with The Notebook, using a calculator and bringing the nicotine levels up to just over 30mg, and they taste and vape fine, but I don’t like mixing the two nicotine types (even if you can) and think adding the nic-salts to 0mg bottles would be ideal for my vaping needs.
I wish Black Note would consider making nic-salt versions of the flavors they offer. I’m aware that salts somewhat detract from flavor, but, to be honest, I myself don’t notice it with the Black Note series. It still tastes and vapes great. And given that they are 50/50 PGVG blends, salt versions of the Black Note series I believe would sell just as readily as the freebase. Black Note staff, I hope you’re reading this!
I use an Orion DNA Go, vaping MTL using the .25 ohm pods (I don’t care for the .5 ones with Black Note, even if they are the “MTL” pods and are supposed to be “more flavorful”) at 17 watts with 2 boost (after setting my custom wattage in eScribe), nic-salt added, and the flavor is awesome to me. Still as smooth as velvet, too.
Anyway, I’m very pleased with Black Note tobacco flavors. While I can’t personally claim that they “taste just like” my favorite analog cigarettes from when I used to smoke, because I rolled my own from a tobacco product called “Riverside”, they are closer than any other “tobacco” vape juice that I’ve ever tried. And I’ve tried a whole lot of them. Black Note definitely has a quality product. You can taste it, that’s for sure. I just hope they never go out of business because I’m probably going to be vaping Black Note for the remainder of my vaping future!
As others have pointed out, the packaging with the products are first-class, the delivery-time is awesome (1-3 business days!), the fact that Black Note only turns out tobacco-based juices and doesn’t cater to children (the fact that plenty of adults like the sweet, candy and fruity flavors too notwithstanding) is great, plus that they give to charity and have a recycle-program, all of these attributes of the company make me double-glad to be a part of the Black Note customer base.
P.S. Black Note: PLEASE consider what I said about making a nic-salt version of your series!

Great true taste in the Legato, i very much enjoy vaping. I think Black Note liquid will be the only tabacco flavor I will purchase. A true cigarette feeling with good nic strength. I also want to complement order quickness and prompt shipping considering I live on the East Coast.

Its a toss-up for me between Legato and Prelude, but I come down (just) on the side of Legato. Love it “straight up” or with a splash of one or two of my other favs that are too dessert-like on their own. Thanks, Black Note, for the only viable alternative to cigarettes!

I have tried so many brands of ejuice to find the best tasting tobacco flavor. Black Note is the best, period. They don’t add anything to their products to give them a phony taste. It’s like smoking a cigarette. I read the reviews for this one and it sounded like what I was looking for. I have never been disappointed. And the ejuice doesn’t mess up your coils. I would recommend Black Note to anyone who is looking for a great tasting tobacco ejuice. It’s as close as you can find to a cigarette.

I switch between a couple of flavors and Legato is one of them. This flavor is a little stronger than Prelude but I do enjoy it and it’s wonderful to have several flavors to change things up. Black Rock rocks!

I am new to vaping after finding out that I have Papillary Renal Cell Carcinomas (Kidney Cancer). It wasn’t due to smoking, but definitely have to quit now. I’ve smoked Marlboro red 100s for 20 years, ever since I was 18. Out of all the tobacco flavor juices I’ve tried, this is by far the closest to the full flavor Marlboro taste, even giving a little bit of a throat burn to match. It has a slight sweetness, but not overwhelming like 99% of vape juices! This juice alone will help me kick the habit for good! Found again
I took a break from this flavor. Now after coming back, I like it even more. It finishes with a sweet caramelized flavor almost like cotton candy,(IMO)
I especially like to mix this with Sonata, but I also mix it with my other favorites, Forte and Prelude.
