Forte
The Forte flavor has a perfect description in its chosing, a burley blend . This is one of the more strong tasting tobacco flavors . I preferably vape this one at a higher wattage to get the perfect taste of sweetness.
Similar to Prelude, but somewhat more pronounced
Forte is actually similar to Prelude, but the flavor is more pronounced. If Prelude is like a light tobacco blend, Forte leans more toward a full-bodied blend. However, it is not harsh or excessive. Like all the others in the Notebook, Forte is smooth and well-balanced. The flavor is a distinct but fairly neutral tobacco profile, with a surprising mild sweetness for a Burley-based blend. Forte also mixes well with Legato or Solo. Overall, another superb effort that scores a 4 versus the other 7 flavors in the Notebook, but would easily top any artificially flavored product.
Super clean vape, nice bite!
This is my personal favorite e-liquid. I have tried Natural tobacco extracts from 5 different vendors and they all have a tendency to burn on the coils instead of vaporize, EXCEPT for the ones here at BlackNote. I don’t know how they did it but they found the secret way to extract the flavor without the compounds that cause the burning. I drip on an RBA over cotton so I can see this in action.
In any case, buy the Notebook to find out your favorite flavor. These NET’s are definitely worth the little bit of price premium. They are an order of magnitude better than any of the synthetic flavors and this brand vaporizes better than any NETs that I have tried.
Good go-to tobacco flavor
I’ve ordered Forte multiple times now and really like the blend of warm, sweet burley flavoring. It has hints of nuttiness but not overwhelming. The smell is fairly sweet and nutty, and the taste is relatively mellow tobacco flavored. It’s not anything too distinct, which in some cases is a good thing.

This is by far my favorite juice. They were out of 12mg which I usually like so I Went with 6mg and have been very happy with it. This juice has a very complex taste, with hints of nuts, a very slight sweet aftertaste. But don’t get me wrong the star here is the tobacco. I was pleasantly surprised how even the 6mg could keep me satisfied with my nic cravings. Taste is subjective so do try all liquids here. I found forte as the smoothest for my palate even though others like the throat hit it delivers.

Roundness!
From my limited knowledge of tobacco, I understand that Kentucky is a cultivar of Burley; that is, in general Kentucky tobacco has been produced as an intentional variety of Burley. The flavor on this is an initial sweet touch, followed by a signature โroundness.โ It is hard to find a better description than โroundness.โ It flows around and from the mouth, settling gently but firmly in the palate, the more it is vaped. A really enjoyable juice that could easily be an all-day vape for me. Looking forward to mixing it with some Quartet/Latakia, a la Cornell & Diehlโs Pirate Kake.

As advertised.
I had to vape this in something that produced 5v. in order to appreciate it. It was as wonderful as stated in the description. A while ago there was a Belgian Pipe tobacco that entered the market. It was essentially a (literally) dry burly that came in bricks called “Semois”. Very nutty, earthy, floral sweet and satisfying (don’t know another way to put it). This is quite like it, but its own thing at the same time; and I will be ordering many more bottles in the future.

As all of BlackNotes are, Forte is outstanding. The rich flavor is offset by just a tinge of sweet aroma. The zero nic is helping me stay free of analogs and I am well on my way to being even vape free. Thank goodness for these true tobacco liquids.

Man I love Forte. You can really taste the tobacco leaf. A slight sweetness up front, followed by a rich, dark complexity. It falls somewhere between pipe and cigarette tobacco, in my opinion. A little rich to be an all day vape (it would over power most wines and spirits). But so delicious. Its decadent, full flavored and just sexy. Definitely on my list of flavors to keep on hand for a nice accompaniment to lovely night cap cocktail. Like a quality piece of dark chocolate.

I’ve been shopping on BlackNote exclusively since I first tried the sample pack back in December. I’m 36 and had been smoking since I was 13. I tried to quite a few times, but failed. Vaping was helping the cause. I would only buy tobacco flavors because I wasn’t vaping for pleasure, rather as a means to quit smoking. I wanted to feel like I was kind of still smoking, hense the reason for the tobacco flavors. Most basic brands had sweet tastes or just weren’t good quality…untill I found BlackNote. I’m a whiskey guy, so I loved the idea of how this company extracted the flavor from tobacco leaves by aging, and their whole process. I recieved the product, loved it, and never turned back.
Forte is my favorite line. I was a full flavor cigarette smoker and I’ve found Forte to be the “strongest” of the flavors. I havent tried the Quartet because I simply dont believe in the $39 price. $29 is on the higher end for a 30ml bottle, but honestly, it’s worth it. It’s just like whiskey. I’d rather pay a bit more for a quality whiskey then pay half the cost for garbage. You get what you pay for, and blacknote delivers. I started at 2.4% nicotine level (yeah yeah, I know) and am now down to 1.2%. Hopefully one day soon I’ll be completely weaned off the nicotine alltogether. For now, I’m enjoying the ride. My only complaint is that for my past 2 orders I’ve had to order a flavor other than Forte because they haven’t had the 1.2% available and I don’t want to stall the downward trend.

I’ve just finished working my way through the Notebook and this liquid is undoubtedly my favorite. That’s not to say that I don’t enjoy the other Black Note flavors (I do), rather each is satisfying in its own right. As a former smoker (Marlboro), I’ve been looking for a juice that closely resembles an actual cigarette. In this respect, Forte delivers. Out of all the juices in the lineup (as well as from every other vendor I’ve tried), Forte provides the most realistic cigarette smoking experience. In fact, I find it more enjoyable. All of the elements are there: Flavor, throat hit, and even the lingering tobacco taste. I am not a tobacco connoisseur, and can definitely understand why a cigar smoker might enjoy Adagio or a pipe smoker Cadenza. However, if you’re like me and looking for something that can admirably stand in as a worthy substitute for your cigarettes, this juice is where you want to start.

Keeping things fresh
I busted out a sample bottle of forte I had stashed in my cubbard, it comes in handy having a few different flavors around even though I REALLY like one or two. Two months ago I got the notebook and this flavor did not appeal to me, it does now after 10 bottles of a different flavor.
Real Taste
Feels like smoking a real cigarette. Most important of all other eliquid gave me harsh and chemical taste and mouth burn. Forte is so smooth, yet taste like real cigarettes. Good job Black Note!

I Purchased the notebook and have trying the different flavors this neat little box has to offer. To date I have tried Prelude and loved it and now I am onto Forte. It is so difficult to pick my favorite of the two as each of the two flavors are unique. I Love the subtle sweet flavor of Forte with the natural tobacco taste. If the other samples in the Blacknote notebook are similar to the two I have tried I will struggle to find my favorite. I wanted to get something different from the Prelude and Adagio that I have been enjoying. I usually get 3 nicotine but I wanted to kick it up a notch and have a stronger morning vape. I got 6 nicotine on Forte. I messed up a couple times so far and over vaped on the stronger stuff. I am about halfway through the bottle and have been enjoying it for an am smoke but I think 6 nicotine is too strong on a sub ohm so will probably go back to the 3 next round. I like this stuff but still like Adagio the best so far.

This is another excellent Black Note Juice… Full tobacco Flavor, may end up as the favorite. To me it’s not as sweet as Prelude, and more robust. I’m putting it on the same 5 star level as Prelude. Depends on what mood you’re in… Sonata just slipped down a notch – 4 stars, not as much flavor and I did not care for Adagio, too sweet and mild – 3 stars. Currently using Nautilus Mini 1.8 coil at 14 watts.

Light and Flavorful
Forte is the other blend I would consider a basic flavor (the other is Prelude). By calling it basic, I don’t mean that it isn’t good. On the contrary. It is quite flavorful. Having already sampled all of the blends via the Notebook, I know the other blends have quite unique flavors. Forte is a straight-up burley tobacco. The website describes it as “full-bodied,” and I think that is a very accurate description, much like the difference between white wine (Prelude) and red wine (Forte). Vaping Forte gives you a rich, flavorful tobacco taste. It isn’t so strong or unique that it gets in its own way. Forte is a nice, smooth, flavorful, authentic tobacco liquid that you can enjoy all day. It might just be the standard by which all others should be measured.

A good burley vape. Only 3 stars from me this time purely because I have never been a big fan of burley in pipes, but as a cig smoke alternative it is a very good one. Forte for ex-smokers
I’m in my 5th week of being cigarette free after 22 years of smoking a pack a day and not being satisfied with patches, gums or prescription cessation pills. I have tried two different Black Note products and both have satisfied my taste, however, Forte is above and beyond my new go to. Taste is never an issue with Black Note, if you like a good throat hit though and not the peppery after feel, Forte is for you.

Has Its Subtle Strengths

100% consistent–product and service

After using all of the black note flavors multiple times Forte comes out the winner for me.
God I love this stuff!
Over time I had lowered my nicotine to .6%. My latest order of forte I decided to up to 1.2%. I love the cigaretty flavor of forte and must confess I have a hard time not chain vaping it. I find it to be for me the most-satisfying of the lineup.

I love it! It is smooth and has a very satisfying flavor. I am a smoker also and this could be the flavor to make me quit!
Sweet Tobacco After Taste
After trying the Predule which I mentioned that could be an all day vape, next bottle I pick up out of the five bottles which I purchased was the Forte, A very mild sweet aftertaste, very relaxing. Thanks Black Note.

Forte – Wonderful compliment to Prelude
I find Forte to be a wonderful compliment to Prelude when I in the mood for something a bit more “forte”. Bolder and a bit sweeter, Forte offers a great, complimentary change of pace to Prelude.
I will never smoke a cigarette again now.
From the notebook I bought, Forte is my favorite. It’s has the best flavor of any juice I’ve tried – nutty, fruity, smokey – excellent with straight rye or an Islay, but also perfectly enjoyable for an all-day. I’ve just bought a lower nic level because the flavor is so good I’m vaping tons of it. I hate overly sweet liquids – this stuff perfectly handles sweet though. Such excellence here, and easily worth the cost.

Forte = favorite for me. I love the spicy and savory flavor of this one, and it definitely keeps me coming back for more. It is one of my regular all day tobacco vapes.
My favorite Black Note product thus far
As a new customer having recently purchased Prelude, I was excited to try another Black Note product. Although Prelude is excellent, I was looking for something with more of a “cigarette taste” and slightly less sweet. Forte definitely hits home with a nice throat hit and slight sweetness on the aftertaste. Can it get any better than this? Nothing I’ve ever tried even comes close.
My favorite
this is my favorite if the Blacknote line up. It’s mellow flavor can be vaped for extended periods. I’m now 3+ weeks without a cigarette and I honestly prefer these e juices to an analog smoke. I have been able to reduce the nicotine from 12 mg to 3 mg and soon will go to 0. So happy I found Blacknote! Thanks guys!
All Day Vape
I don’t miss smoking a bit. As a matter of fact, I am probably vaping more than I should be, because of the smooth taste and character of Forte! It is rich and full bodied, yet not dense and intense. I have been mixing nicotine levels 6 and 3 for all day vaping. I switch to 6mg when I feel like I need a real good throat hit. Give this a try- you won’t look back.

Tastes like a full flavored cigarrette
I ordered Sonata based on the descriptions here and Black Note was generous enough to include a small bottle of Forte with my order. I much prefer the Forte. While Sonata has that ashy and slightly sweet flavor I associate with Marlborough Lights, Forte is a bolder flavor and I prefer that. Reminiscent of Lucky Strike, Camel or Pall Mall. I’ll be ordering the Forte for my next refill.
Exceptional product
I’ve tried Prelude, Adagio, Sonata and Forte. All were very good but Forte is my favorite because it is a little stronger and has a little better throat hit. All of these are excellent quality with fast shipping and excellent packaging.
Best Tobacco E-liquid to Date
I enjoy a wide range of flavors when it comes down to E-liquids, but I have always found it difficult to find a really good tobacco flavor. Forte is the first E-liquid that I’ve tried in Black Notes line and I have to say, this is the best tobacco E-liquid I’ve tried to date. I liked it so much, I just purchased Forte for my brother. I’m definitely going to purchase Forte again, but I’m also excited to try Black Notes other flavors.
Man With No Name Would Vape This…
Yeah, this would be one of Clint’s favs. This e-liquid tastes like a smooth yellow burley with leather notes and reminds me of a western saddlery when I vape it. I can almost smell the barn. I found the flavour too heavy in my Goon RDA but love it in an Evod tank with a 1.8 ohm SOCC coil at 3.4 – 3.5V. Any higher and it starts to lose some of its sweetness. I remember smoking a straight yellow burley tobacco blend in my pipe; Forte nails the flavour pretty darn close.
My wife prefers Forte to Bravura — I like them both equally. Nice vape with a strong coffee brewed in a percolator.

Subtle and complex
I quit smoking over a month ago. In that time, I tried two makers of e-liquids… supposedly tobacco flavored, but not really resembling tobacco at all.
After a lot of reading, I ordered the Notebook. Forte was the first flavor I tried.
At first, it didn’t seem like much. It quickly grew on me, and now I’m a fan. It’s very mellow and pleasing. I could easily see this being someone’s all-day vape.

This is my favorite having tried all but the mentholated. Haven’t tried the last two new ones but looking forward to it. Have tried other NET brands but this company is head and shoulders above the rest. Everything is quality!

The best
I ordered two 30ml Forte liquids based on the reviews from you people. Before I talk about the liquid I have to talk about Black Notes’ shipping. I ordered this on Friday and chose USPS priority mail international and this actually came today ; only Wednesday. I am 8000 miles away from Cali in a relatively remote island in Greece just 5 nautical miles from Turkey. Suffice to say I have had packages I have ordered in the past from Italy,UK, etc that take nearly 3 times long to get here.
As for the liquid I am glad I listened to the reviews because forte is right for me. Strong and an all day vape for sure. No chemical/fake taste at all and even the vapor seems more realistic , more cigeratte like for sure. The price isn’t an issue for me since I am a MTL smoker/vapor and I suspect many here are anyway. The free gift was a nice surprise but not an actual surprise since I read the reviews and was expecting one, they gave me a 10ml bottle of legato which I haven’t tried yet. My only complaints is that 2.4%nicotine isn’t available anymore from Black note but I can accept that so long as they continue to make 1.8%. Here in Europe MTL is more common than DTL and nicotine matters more in MTL. I love tobacco and alcohol , bubble gum unicorn tear flavors aren’t for me. My second complaint is that they are discontinuing Cadenza, the Hellenic Basma blend. I didn’t order it but I know that would have been my favorite but since they are discontinuing it I didn’t want to get hooked on it only to have it discontinued. That is all. Cheers.
