Perhaps non-American smokers have rated this blend highly, for me it was pretty bad… I was accustomed to Marlboro reds. Truthfully, I vaped this blend for a few days and ended up mixing it with a *BLECH* sweet junk juice (just a few drops kicked down the harshness and aftertaste). I felt so dirty adulterating such a quality product with chemicals! It was harsher and had a stronger “earthier” flavor than any of the rest, including freebies.
Typically, I won’t leave a bad review, but I want potential customers to try one of the better (IMO) blends and not be discouraged based solely on this product. If you are a non-USA customer, you might love this… USA customers, I suggest Adagio or Legato (Legato is a bit smoother, Adagio tastes better).

I ordered two 30ml Forte liquids based on the reviews from you people. Before I talk about the liquid I have to talk about Black Notes’ shipping. I ordered this on Friday and chose USPS priority mail international and this actually came today ; only Wednesday. I am 8000 miles away from Cali in a relatively remote island in Greece just 5 nautical miles from Turkey. Suffice to say I have had packages I have ordered in the past from Italy,UK, etc that take nearly 3 times long to get here.
As for the liquid I am glad I listened to the reviews because forte is right for me. Strong and an all day vape for sure. No chemical/fake taste at all and even the vapor seems more realistic , more cigeratte like for sure. The price isn’t an issue for me since I am a MTL smoker/vapor and I suspect many here are anyway. The free gift was a nice surprise but not an actual surprise since I read the reviews and was expecting one, they gave me a 10ml bottle of legato which I haven’t tried yet. My only complaints is that 2.4%nicotine isn’t available anymore from Black note but I can accept that so long as they continue to make 1.8%. Here in Europe MTL is more common than DTL and nicotine matters more in MTL. I love tobacco and alcohol , bubble gum unicorn tear flavors aren’t for me. My second complaint is that they are discontinuing Cadenza, the Hellenic Basma blend. I didn’t order it but I know that would have been my favorite but since they are discontinuing it I didn’t want to get hooked on it only to have it discontinued. That is all. Cheers.

Subtle and complex

Man With No Name Would Vape This…
Yeah, this would be one of Clint’s favs. This e-liquid tastes like a smooth yellow burley with leather notes and reminds me of a western saddlery when I vape it. I can almost smell the barn. I found the flavour too heavy in my Goon RDA but love it in an Evod tank with a 1.8 ohm SOCC coil at 3.4 – 3.5V. Any higher and it starts to lose some of its sweetness. I remember smoking a straight yellow burley tobacco blend in my pipe; Forte nails the flavour pretty darn close.
My wife prefers Forte to Bravura — I like them both equally. Nice vape with a strong coffee brewed in a percolator.

I enjoy a wide range of flavors when it comes down to E-liquids, but I have always found it difficult to find a really good tobacco flavor. While Sonata has that ashy and slightly sweet flavor I associate with Marlborough Lights, Forte is a bolder flavor and I prefer that. Reminiscent of Lucky Strike, Camel or Pall Mall. this is my favorite if the Blacknote line up. It’s mellow flavor can be vaped for extended periods. I’m now 3+ weeks without a cigarette and I honestly prefer these e juices to an analog smoke. Light and Flavorful
Forte is the other blend I would consider a basic flavor (the other is Prelude). By calling it basic, I don’t mean that it isn’t good. On the contrary. It is quite flavorful. Having already sampled all of the blends via the Notebook, I know the other blends have quite unique flavors. Forte is a straight-up burley tobacco. The website describes it as “full-bodied,” and I think that is a very accurate description, much like the difference between white wine (Prelude) and red wine (Forte). Vaping Forte gives you a rich, flavorful tobacco taste. It isn’t so strong or unique that it gets in its own way. Forte is a nice, smooth, flavorful, authentic tobacco liquid that you can enjoy all day. It might just be the standard by which all others should be measured.

This is another excellent Black Note Juice… Full tobacco Flavor, may end up as the favorite. To me it’s not as sweet as Prelude, and more robust. I’m putting it on the same 5 star level as Prelude. Depends on what mood you’re in… Sonata just slipped down a notch – 4 stars, not as much flavor and I did not care for Adagio, too sweet and mild – 3 stars. I wanted to get something different from the Prelude and Adagio that I have been enjoying. I usually get 3 nicotine but I wanted to kick it up a notch and have a stronger morning vape. I got 6 nicotine on Forte. I messed up a couple times so far and over vaped on the stronger stuff. I am about halfway through the bottle and have been enjoying it for an am smoke but I think 6 nicotine is too strong on a sub ohm so will probably go back to the 3 next round. I like this stuff but still like Adagio the best so far.

I Purchased the notebook and have trying the different flavors this neat little box has to offer. To date I have tried Prelude and loved it and now I am onto Forte. It is so difficult to pick my favorite of the two as each of the two flavors are unique. I Love the subtle sweet flavor of Forte with the natural tobacco taste. If the other samples in the Blacknote notebook are similar to the two I have tried I will struggle to find my favorite. These guys rock and I will be defiantly be purchasing again once I have tried all flavors and picked my favorites.

Every Day ! Forte!
I made the wise choice to purchase the sampler kit in order to get a taste of what real vaping has to offer. Each flavor is unique, with a different nuance. I made the transition from sugary vape store tobacco, and started with Prelude. A very refreshing change. My palate has extended itself to fall in love with Forte! It is not too strong or too sweet. This is my favorite flavor of Black Note’s tobacco flavors. It has a very smooth natural taste. These days I have been making my own blend of the forte and the solo (menthol) flavor. Very good.

I’ve just finished working my way through the Notebook and this liquid is undoubtedly my favorite. That’s not to say that I don’t enjoy the other Black Note flavors (I do), rather each is satisfying in its own right. As a former smoker (Marlboro), I’ve been looking for a juice that closely resembles an actual cigarette. In this respect, Forte delivers. Out of all the juices in the lineup (as well as from every other vendor I’ve tried), Forte provides the most realistic cigarette smoking experience. In fact, I find it more enjoyable. All of the elements are there: Flavor, throat hit, and even the lingering tobacco taste. I am not a tobacco connoisseur, and can definitely understand why a cigar smoker might enjoy Adagio or a pipe smoker Cadenza. However, if you’re like me and looking for something that can admirably stand in as a worthy substitute for your cigarettes, this juice is where you want to start.

Simply the best…
I’ve been shopping on BlackNote exclusively since I first tried the sample pack back in December. I’m 36 and had been smoking since I was 13. I tried to quite a few times, but failed. Vaping was helping the cause. I would only buy tobacco flavors because I wasn’t vaping for pleasure, rather as a means to quit smoking. I wanted to feel like I was kind of still smoking, hense the reason for the tobacco flavors. Most basic brands had sweet tastes or just weren’t good quality…untill I found BlackNote. I’m a whiskey guy, so I loved the idea of how this company extracted the flavor from tobacco leaves by aging, and their whole process. I recieved the product, loved it, and never turned back.
Forte is my favorite line. I was a full flavor cigarette smoker and I’ve found Forte to be the “strongest” of the flavors. I havent tried the Quartet because I simply dont believe in the $39 price. $29 is on the higher end for a 30ml bottle, but honestly, it’s worth it. It’s just like whiskey. I’d rather pay a bit more for a quality whiskey then pay half the cost for garbage. You get what you pay for, and blacknote delivers. I started at 2.4% nicotine level (yeah yeah, I know) and am now down to 1.2%. Hopefully one day soon I’ll be completely weaned off the nicotine alltogether. For now, I’m enjoying the ride. My only complaint is that for my past 2 orders I’ve had to order a flavor other than Forte because they haven’t had the 1.2% available and I don’t want to stall the downward trend.
BlackNote, if you’re reading this, please stay on top of having every % mark available for Forte. You’re helping to potentially save my life, and my newborn daughter insists you stay on your game and make Forte in all strengths so daddy is happy. Ok, I’m done. 🙂

Man I love Forte. You can really taste the tobacco leaf. A slight sweetness up front, followed by a rich, dark complexity. It falls somewhere between pipe and cigarette tobacco, in my opinion. A little rich to be an all day vape (it would over power most wines and spirits). But so delicious. Its decadent, full flavored and just sexy. Definitely on my list of flavors to keep on hand for a nice accompaniment to lovely night cap cocktail. Like a quality piece of dark chocolate.

I had to vape this in something that produced 5v. in order to appreciate it. It was as wonderful as stated in the description. A while ago there was a Belgian Pipe tobacco that entered the market. It was essentially a (literally) dry burly that came in bricks called “Semois”. Very nutty, earthy, floral sweet and satisfying (don’t know another way to put it). This is quite like it, but its own thing at the same time; and I will be ordering many more bottles in the future.
