Vaporesso Eco Nano Plus Review: The Simple Kit, With More Battery

The Eco Nano Plus keeps the Eco Nano’s no-button design and adds a bigger battery, a battery screen and adjustable airflow. This review covers everything: how long the battery and pods really last, every pod that fits, which e-liquid to use, and the good, the bad and the ugly.
Our verdict on the Vaporesso Eco Nano Plus
The Eco Nano Plus makes sense when you want a refillable kit that works like a disposable: fill it, click it in and draw. There are no buttons and no settings. Vaporesso kept that idea and fixed the parts Eco Nano owners noticed most. The battery grew from 1000mAh to 1400mAh, charging doubled to 2A, a small front screen now shows battery percentage, and a slider on the side adjusts the airflow.

The headline is the pod. The kit’s 0.6Ω Lush Mesh pod holds 10mL, more than almost any pod kit, so refills are rare. It fills from the bottom through a silicone stopper, and the device sets the power automatically. Every earlier Eco Nano pod fits too, including the 6mL pods Black Note stocks in 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω.
The caution is control, not quality. You cannot change the power. The looser end of the airflow is still fairly tight. And for most people the battery needs a charge before a full 10mL pod is finished. If you want to tune wattage or chase a looser draw, the Luxe X3 is the better fit.
This is an editorial review based on Vaporesso’s published specifications, US retailer listings, third-party reviews and the live Black Note product page. We have not completed an independent hands-on endurance test, so battery and coil life figures are Vaporesso’s claims or other reviewers’ reports.

Design, size and build
The Eco Nano Plus is a flat, rounded rectangle, 99.1mm tall, 45.6mm wide and only 18mm thick, with a brushed aluminum body. At 75.8g it is light for a 10mL kit. The pod sits in the top and holds by magnet, the battery screen is on the front, and the airflow slider is on the side. There is nothing else to press or turn.

It is taller and heavier than the Eco Nano Pro (87.8mm and 65g), because the bigger pod and battery need the room.
Vaporesso makes six colors: Mocha Brown, Grape Green, Coral Pink, Sky Blue, Space Silver and Midnight Black. Black Note stocks Mocha Brown.

Battery life and charging
What Vaporesso claims
Vaporesso says the 1400mAh battery can last up to four days. Its pod figures elsewhere on the same page assume about 2mL of e-liquid a day, which is light use. One reviewer got a full day of moderate to heavy vaping per charge, and owner reviews say much the same. Expect somewhere between those two depending on how much you vape.

The 10mL pod outlasts the battery
This is the one thing to understand before you buy. At Vaporesso’s own rate of 2mL a day, a 10mL pod lasts about five days, while the battery is rated for up to four. Heavier vapers go through e-liquid and battery faster, but the result is the same: you will almost always charge at least once before the pod runs dry. That is normal, not a fault.
Charging
It charges over USB-C at 5V/2A, which Vaporesso calls 2A Quick Charge. That is twice the rate of the Eco Nano Pro. Vaporesso does not publish a charge time, and its box list does not include a USB-C cable, so have one ready. The screen shows the battery level while it charges. One reviewer notes the port is on the base, so it charges lying down.
Power and the screen
There are no buttons and no power settings. The device reads the pod’s resistance and sets the output itself, and retailers list a maximum of about 23W. One reviewer measured about 23W on the 0.6Ω pod. Higher-resistance pods such as the 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω automatically run at lower power for a tighter, cooler draw.

The front screen shows battery percentage and nothing else. The Eco Nano Pro had a much larger display and an Eco/Power switch, so the Plus is a step back on features and a step forward on battery and pod size.
Vaporesso does not describe a power button or a lock. Because it fires when you draw, the easy way to stop it firing in a bag is to take the pod out.
Pods and coils: everything that fits
Vaporesso lists every Eco Nano pod as compatible with the Plus. The 10mL pods are new with this kit. The 6mL pods are the ones made for the original Eco Nano and Eco Nano Pro, and Black Note stocks them as Eco Nano replacement pods in 0.6Ω Lush Mesh, 0.8Ω Mesh and 1.2Ω Mesh.

All Eco Nano pods have the coil built in, so you replace the whole pod when the flavor fades. They fill from the bottom through a silicone stopper and click in magnetically. Output is set by the device, so the table shows the draw each pod gives rather than a wattage you choose.

| Capacity | Draw | E-liquid to use | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.6Ω Lush Mesh pod (in the box) | 10mL | Smooth mouth to lung or loose restricted lung | 50/50 |
| 0.8Ω Lush Mesh pod | 10mL | Mouth to lung | 50/50 or Salt Nicotine |
| 0.6Ω Lush Mesh pod | 6mL | Smooth mouth to lung or loose restricted lung | 50/50 |
| 0.6Ω Mesh pod | 6mL | Mouth to lung | 50/50 |
| 0.8Ω Mesh pod | 6mL | Mouth to lung | 50/50 or Salt Nicotine |
| 1.2Ω Mesh pod | 6mL | Tight mouth to lung | Salt Nicotine or 50/50 |
Airflow and draw
The airflow slider on the side is new for the Eco Nano line. Closed, it gives a tight mouth to lung draw. Open, it moves toward a restricted lung pull. Reviewers agree the open end is still fairly restricted, so treat this as a mouth to lung device with some room to loosen up rather than a lung-hit device.
If the draw feels too airy on the 0.6Ω pod, close the slider or move to a 0.8Ω or 1.2Ω pod, which run cooler and tighter.
Which e-liquid to use in the Eco Nano Plus
Vaporesso does not publish an official e-liquid guide for the Eco Nano Plus, and retailers disagree about thick, high-VG e-liquid. The dependable choice is 50VG/50PG, which wicks well through every Eco Nano pod.
Matching Black Note e-liquid to each pod
- 0.6Ω pods: 50VG/50PG is the most reliable match. 70VG/30PG can work, but if you get dry or harsh hits, go back to 50/50.
- 0.8Ω pods: 50VG/50PG or Black Note Salt Nicotine.
- 1.2Ω pod: Black Note Salt Nicotine or 50VG/50PG. This pod runs at the lowest power and is built for salts.
Every Black Note tobacco and menthol e-liquid comes in three formulations: 50VG/50PG and 70VG/30PG (each in nicotine-free, 3, 6, 12 and 18mg/mL) and Salt Nicotine (20, 30 and 50mg/mL). The flavors are naturally extracted tobacco with no added sweeteners. The Special Blend line is a good place to start.
What to avoid
- Very thick, high-VG e-liquid in the 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω pods.
- Heavily sweetened e-liquids, which shorten the life of a pod you cannot rebuild.
Sweeteners are the most common reason a coil tastes burnt before its time, because they leave a sticky residue on the mesh. Black Note e-liquids contain no added sweeteners, which helps a pod keep its flavor for longer.

What's in the box and how to set it up
In the box
- 1x Vaporesso Eco Nano Plus device
- 1x Eco Nano 0.6Ω 10mL Lush Mesh pod (pre-installed)
- 1x User manual and warranty card
Vaporesso’s box list does not include a USB-C cable.

First-time setup
- Charge it: connect a USB-C cable and charge to full.
- Fill from the bottom: pull out the pod, turn it over, open the silicone stopper and fill to just below the max line. Press the stopper back in firmly.
- Prime it: wait about five minutes before your first draw. Reviewers who skipped this got a singed first hit.
- Click it in: the pod seats magnetically. Take a few gentle draws to start.
- Set the airflow: slide it closed for a tighter draw, open for a looser one.
Care, coil life and troubleshooting
How long does a pod last?
Vaporesso rates the 10mL 0.6Ω Lush Mesh pod for up to 35,000 puffs and at least four refills, based on its own lab testing. Reviewers think that is ambitious and put real-world life closer to 3,500 puffs, around 40mL of e-liquid. How long yours lasts depends on your e-liquid and how hard you draw.

Everyday care
- Store it upright when you can. Left on its side for a long time, it can gurgle for the first few draws.
- Wipe the pod base and device contacts when you refill.
- Refill before the pod runs dry so the wick stays soaked.
Troubleshooting
- Dry or burnt taste: check the pod has e-liquid and that it was primed. A burnt pod will not recover, so replace it.
- Gurgling: take a few gentle draws to clear it, then store it upright.
- Moisture around the pod: wipe the base and contacts, and check the stopper is pressed fully in.
- Not firing: check the battery percentage, then remove and reseat the pod.
Sweeteners are the most common reason a coil tastes burnt before its time, because they leave a sticky residue on the mesh. Black Note e-liquids contain no added sweeteners, which helps a pod keep its flavor for longer.
The good, the bad and the ugly
The good
- 10mL pod means refills are rare.
- 1400mAh battery, 40 percent more than the Eco Nano and Eco Nano Pro.
- 2A USB-C charging, twice as fast as the Eco Nano Pro.
- Battery percentage screen and a new airflow slider.
- No buttons or settings to learn.
- Every Eco Nano pod fits, 6mL and 10mL.
- Light at 75.8g, with a brushed aluminum body in six colors.
The bad
- No power control or modes.
- The open end of the airflow is still fairly tight.
- No USB-C cable listed in the box, and no published charge time.
- It must be primed for about five minutes, or the first hit tastes singed.
- It can gurgle after lying on its side, and it charges lying down.
- Taller and heavier than the Eco Nano Pro.
The ugly
- The battery is rated for up to four days, but a 10mL pod lasts about five at Vaporesso’s own usage rate, so you will charge mid-pod.
- The 35,000-puff pod claim comes from Vaporesso’s lab. Reviewers put real-world life at about a tenth of that.
- It drops the Eco Nano Pro’s large display and Eco/Power switch.
- A small number of owner reviews on Vaporesso’s own store report new pods that stopped working after the first fill.
Eco Nano Plus compared with the Eco Nano and Eco Nano Pro
All three take the same Eco Nano pods. The Plus trades the Pro’s big screen and modes for more battery, a bigger pod and faster charging. Compare the Eco Nano Kit and the Eco Nano Pro Kit.
