You will get on with it if you want a berry custard that reads as a single dessert rather than fruit sitting on cream. It is the middle ground of the range: richer than Blueberry, lighter than Banana or Butterscotch.

Skip it if you need a sharp edge to keep a dessert interesting over a long day. Blackberry has less acidity than Blueberry, so it fatigues the palate sooner. Blueberry is the tarter route to the same idea.

One thing worth knowing: Dark berries mute faster than pale ones when a coil starts to age. If this bottle goes flat after a few days, the coil is the likeliest cause rather than the liquid.
