Frozen Fruit Monster Mango Peach Guava Ice Review: Three Tropical Fruits, One Cold Finish

Frozen Fruit Monster Mango Peach Guava Ice is the chilled version of Fruit Monster’s tropical blend, built on the same three fruits with a menthol finish added.

This is an editorial product review. It is based on the maker’s stated flavor description and the live Black Note product record. Nobody at Black Note has vaped this bottle, so you will not find tasting notes or a score below.

At a glance
Flavor Frozen Fruit Monster Mango Peach Guava Ice is icy mango with peach and cool guava. It is a chilled fruit profile with a menthol finish rather than a dessert or tobacco one. The fruit leads and the menthol sits on the exhale.
Formats A 100mL freebase bottle at 75VG/25PG, and a 30mL salt nicotine bottle at 50VG/50PG.
Strengths 3mg and 6mg in the 100mL freebase. 24mg and 48mg in the 30mL salt nicotine.
Best device fit The 30mL salt bottle suits a mouth-to-lung pod. The 100mL freebase suits a restricted direct-lung sub-ohm coil.
Sweetness Our judgment, not a measurement: sweet, with the menthol finish cutting it rather than sugar being removed.
Coil behavior Sweetened iced fruit is easier on coils than a dessert but harder than an unsweetened blend. A general category statement, not a test of this bottle.
Bottom line A competent iced tropical blend that keeps the fruit in front of the menthol.

Who this is for

You will get on with it if you want a fruit you can stay on all day without the sweetness building up. Cooling resets the palate between puffs, which is why iced fruit tends to outlast uniced fruit in a long session. It also suits anyone who finds straight menthol too medicinal but wants something colder than a plain fruit.

Skip it if you dislike cooling agents at all, or you are after a dessert or tobacco profile. There is no cream, bakery or tobacco anywhere in this.

One thing worth knowing: If cooling agents give you a scratchy throat, that is usually a power problem rather than a liquid problem. Cooling gets harsher as wattage climbs, and dropping a few watts fixes it more often than switching bottles does.

What it tastes like

Mango leads. It is the ripest and sweetest of the three, and it sets the tone from the inhale. Peach follows just behind, softening the mango and adding a little stone-fruit weight. Guava sits furthest back, contributing the slightly floral, almost tart edge that keeps the blend from reading as generic tropical punch.

The cooling is moderate rather than aggressive, which matters more than it sounds. Heavily iced liquids tend to flatten the fruit underneath them. Here the three fruits stay readable, and how readable depends a lot on the power you run.

Retailer descriptions agree on the running order: mango first, peach second, guava as the back note, with the menthol landing on the exhale. The most common observation is that the cooling is moderate rather than aggressive.

We have not tasted this bottle, so treat the description above as a reading of the maker’s own wording rather than our tasting notes.

Formats, strengths and what to pick

The 100mL freebase bottle is mixed at 75VG/25PG. That is a vapor-forward ratio suited to sub-ohm tanks, box mods and coils rated under 1.0 ohm, and it carries the cooling well because a larger vapor volume spreads the chill across the draw rather than concentrating it in the throat.

The 30mL salt nicotine bottle is mixed at 50VG/50PG. The balanced ratio is thinner, so it feeds small pod coils without starving them, and the extra PG makes both the fruit and the menthol read more directly. The same cooling feels sharper in a 50/50 pod than in a 75VG tank.

The more vapor your device makes per puff, the lower the strength you want. If you are between two strengths, go down rather than up: a strength that is slightly too low is a minor annoyance, and one that is too high will put you off the bottle entirely.

If you are moving away from cigarettes and unsure where to start, the vape quiz covers strength and device together in about a minute.

Device fit and settings

Match the format to the hardware. This is the single most common mistake made with a 100mL bottle.

For the 30mL salt version at 50VG/50PG, use a mouth-to-lung pod around 1.0 to 1.2 ohm. The tighter draw keeps the cooling controlled, and the 50/50 mix wicks fast enough that you will not chase dry hits. The Black Note Pod System is our own refillable and is built around 50/50 liquids. The Uwell Caliburn G3 Pro adds adjustable airflow, which is the main lever on how sweet this reads, and the Vaporesso XROS 6 Mini is the steadier choice for all-day carry.

For the 100mL freebase version at 75VG/25PG, go sub-ohm. This blend rewards a restricted direct-lung coil around 0.6 ohm more than a wide-open cloud setup, because big airflow thins the fruit and leaves the menthol standing alone. The Vaporesso Luxe XR Max 2 handles 75VG without a full tank setup, and the Geekvape Aegis Solo 3 is the one to pick if flavor matters more to you than pocket size.

Fruit opens up with more power to a point and then flattens, while the cooling keeps getting stronger the whole way. That is why an iced liquid that tasted balanced at 20W can feel like an ice pick at 35W. Stop at the point where the guava is still audible behind the chill.

Airflow matters more on an iced blend than on a dessert. Opening it up makes the cooling feel sharper and more spread out; closing it down concentrates the fruit and warms the draw. If the blend feels too cold, close the airflow before you drop the wattage, because closing it keeps more of the fruit.

Prime a new coil properly by wetting the exposed cotton, filling, then leaving it five to ten minutes before the first pull. At 75VG the liquid moves slowly, and not waiting is the most common way to ruin a coil on day one.

Coil life and care

Iced fruit is generally kinder to coils than a sweetened dessert, because there is no bakery or cream residue to caramelize. It is not free, though. This blend is sweetened, and sweetener is what darkens a coil. This one is middling for an iced fruit on coil life, sweeter than the dark-berry options but lighter than anything with cream in it. Expect shorter coil life than an unsweetened tobacco liquid and longer than you would get from a custard. This is a general statement about sweetened iced fruit; we have not tested coil life on this bottle.

Two habits specific to cold liquids. Cooling agents leave a faint residue that carries into the next flavor, so rinse a pod before switching to something warm. And avoid chain pulls at high power, which is the fastest way to a dry hit here because the menthol masks the early warning taste that usually tells you to stop.

If coil cost is the thing that bothers you, that is a real argument for an unsweetened blend rather than something to work around. Black Note Special Blend and Special Blend 3.0 are naturally extracted tobacco e-liquids made without added sweeteners.

Alternatives in the range and beyond

Against the uniced Fruit Monster Mango Peach Guava, this is the same fruit with a cleaner finish and a longer session life. The uniced one tastes slightly sweeter because nothing is cutting it.

Within the Frozen line, Mixed Berry Ice is tarter, Banana Ice is creamier and much simpler, and Strawberry Kiwi Pomegranate Ice is the closest in complexity but sharper on the finish.

Fruit Monster Mango Peach Guava is the uniced original, so you can pick the version that fits the weather without changing flavor families.

Custard Monster Vanilla is warm and creamy where this is cold and bright, which is why it works better as a second bottle than another fruit would.

Verdict

A competent iced tropical blend that keeps the fruit in front of the menthol. Run it on a restricted draw at the lower end of your coil’s range and the guava stays readable, which is the whole point of picking this over a plain menthol.

Both formats sit on the same page, so you can pick the bottle that matches your device rather than buying twice. Shop Frozen Fruit Monster Mango Peach Guava Ice at Black Note.

Frequently asked questions

Frozen Fruit Monster Mango Peach Guava Ice is icy mango with peach and cool guava. It is a chilled fruit profile with a menthol finish rather than a dessert or tobacco one. The fruit leads and the menthol sits on the exhale. We have not tasted it; that is the maker's description as carried on our product page.

They are different bottles for different devices. The 100mL freebase is 75VG/25PG in 3mg and 6mg, made for sub-ohm tanks and box mods. The 30mL salt nicotine is 50VG/50PG in 24mg and 48mg, made for pods and low-wattage devices. Salt nicotine stays smoother at high strength, which is why the pod format carries the bigger numbers.

Four strengths across two formats. The 100mL freebase comes in 3mg and 6mg, which suits sub-ohm tanks where each puff delivers more vapor. The 30mL salt nicotine comes in 24mg and 48mg, which suits pod systems where the puff is smaller. If you are between two strengths, go down rather than up.

Sweetened iced fruit is easier on coils than a dessert but harder than an unsweetened blend. A general category statement, not a test of this bottle. Running at the lower end of your coil's range and avoiding chain pulls both help. We have not measured coil life on this bottle, so treat that as general guidance rather than a test result.
