Or All-Day-Vape if you like mild cigarettes or maybe just quit. Musically speaking, it's definitely called Prelude for a reason. This is probably the best place to start if you are just discovering Black Note. At this point I have tried almost all of the flavors and was sent a sampler of Prelude a couple of times as a "gift". It's not as rich or complex as the others, but found myself really enjoying it in my little MigCig mini travel vape kit. Like I said, if you like (or were smoking) "light" or "mild" cigarettes, then I think you'll really enjoy it. If you were into more earthy, natural cigarettes, such as American Spirits, then skip straight to the Legato in my opinion. You won't be disappointed. You can read my review on that page. As I say in all of my reviews so far, these liquids will definitely give more life to your coils and wicks. Especially, in my case, the eGo One CL coils, which I think have a pretty terrible life span usually.Ryan –

This flavor IMO most accurately tastes like a Marlboro light. I haven't smoked in over a year, but if memory serves this flavor is the best I have found to resemble the taste. If you are looking for a vape that comes closest to the analog taste then look no further.john –

The flavor has stayed verry close to the same when switching up nicotine levels...before i had to stick to a certain level of nic. for the flavor would change with other brands...gonna buy a 3rd bottle then may try another when that ones over i might try forte nextJuiceyG –

Got a bottle free when I ordered some Sonata. Very smooth throat hit with no after taste. Mild in comparison to the sonata blend. Black note is the only tobacco flavored juice I have tried that doesn't have a chemical after taste. It truly taste better than a cigarette and is helping me to quit the nasty analog habit.Scottsonian –

I read the description and reviews and this one, Prelude, sounded about right for a Virginia tobacco lover, which I've always been. I was not disappointed. They got it exactly right, my only problem being I wanted a stronger flavor. As one reviewer (who loved it) pointed out, it tastes like a Marlboro Light. This would be my go-to vape, otherwise. (Well, if there were nothing else, it would be, period! But...) So I bought the Notebook and tried them all. There's definitely something there for just about every taste (even a real menthol), but what grabbed me, weirdly, because I haven't smoked a cigar in years, was Adagio. Havana tobacco flavor. Adagio got a five on my Black Note meter. But I keep drifting back to the haunting flavor of Prelude. So what I will do: 50/50 Prelude and Adagio. I used to smoke Pall Malls, Camels, Luckies, Chesterfields, Philip Morris. I think a blend of Virginia and Havana just might do the trick. If Black Note ever comes out with a Turkish or Balkan version, that'll be next, but for now Prelude remains very close to the top of my list for smooth Virginia flavor, a little Adagio for strength.James –
Nice Intro
I actually didn't start with this one, I went through several others first. Prelude has a nice, light, smokey edge with a honey finish. It's not overly sweet, just a nice honey finish on an otherwise well balanced vape. It's a good place to start if you're just becoming familiar with the excellent blacknote family. Another good one from Blacknote, would be good to blend with something like the FpreJerry –

After using all of the flavors in the Black Note sampler box, I've decided that Prelude is my favorite. All flavors are so good, though, which makes this so close that I can't even be sure that it will remain my favorite. For now, though, I ordered and have received a new 30 ML bottle of Prelude.
