So ... Tobacco free for 5 yrs ..yay! So the taste of tobacco is almost foreign to me. Took me a tank to adjust to reality but now all I can say is what was lost ...is FOUND. Good on its own and fantastic to punch up lesser fare. Look forward trying the entire lot.Ryan –

Sweet & Mild
I've been vaping this flavor for about a week now. My review is based both other brand tobacco flavors and three other BlackNote tobacco flavors I've tried. Prelude definitely has sweet overtones to it. The base flavor (which seems consistent with all BlackNote flavors) is a dry-leafy essence. From there, the discerning, will detect a variety of overtone and undertones. These are so well blended that they are consistent from one puff to the next. I also find that with most beverages I consume the flavor of the e-liquid is not affected. It's tough to rate any of the BlackNote flavors since it depends on if you're comparing each of the BlackNote flavors against each other or if you're comparing them to other brands. Truly there's no comparison, BlackNote is top-shelf; in a league of it's own. All other brands of wannabe tobacco flavors often leave a bitter aftertaste in my mouth or have a coffee taste lurking in the mix. (I hate coffee). Thus, if compared to any other brand of e-liquid I would venture to say all of the BlackNote products would get five stars. The bottomline, each person's palate and preference will vary, so the best way to truly know if you'll like Prelude is to try it. Personally I like the sweeter flavors. I have been vaping for about 2 years now. For most of that time when ordering e juice I would often look for the lowest price. Until recently I thought all e juice was about the same. All that changed when a friend of mine gave me a 10ml bottle of so-na-ta he got free from Black Note with his order. After trying it I had to try another. So I ordered a 30ml in 1.8 of prelude and let me tell you after trying it I realized the extra price was a small price to pay for what I am getting. It is by far the very best I have ever tried. Was using a number of "tobacco flavored" juices as I can't stand the tutti fruity usual juice. They all were too sweet and had a cloying taste. Enter Prelude. A fantastic tasting juice that makes me not miss my analog cigarettes at all. Great taste, that I can enjoy with my nose as well as my younger and a good throat hit. Using it in my tank with a VW mod @ 33 watts. Really started to unfold when I switched to a half ohm Clapton coil. I will be buying more. The 0.3% allows me to use all day, no nicotine edginess.
