Breed the Best Non-GMO Seeds

A full year before we plant our final tobacco crops, we source non-GMO tobacco seeds. We do not modify the seeds in any way, because we believe it is important for nature to take its course. However, we do work hard to steer it in the right direction. 

Instead of genetically modifying the seeds in a lab, we crossbreed them to create the healthiest, strongest seeds possible. Once we are confident that we have the best organic tobacco varieties, we plant them.

Plant and Maintain

We don’t believe in the binary of nature vs. nurture. In our natural tobacco vape juice process, we work within the limits of nature to catapult our seeds to success. Instead of planting our seeds in any old soil, we search for the most fertile soil in the best locations. 

Once the seeds have been planted, we nurture them to full ripeness. 

Dry and Cure

For this stage, we constructed barns that meet our strict requirements for drying and curing. 

Some vape manufacturers cut corners to dry their tobacco leaves faster, but we know that time unlocks the potential of each tobacco leaf. 

There are four main methods, and each one creates a different outcome depending on the type of leaf. 

• Sun-cured tobacco leaves contain little moisture, which allows herbal characteristics to come to the forefront.

• Flue-cured tobacco leaves tend to have high sugar content, making the overall taste mild but sweet.

All these processes remove moisture from the leaves, which solidifies the flavors. 

Moisten and Strip

Once the curing process is complete, we moisten the leaves. At this stage, the leaves are extremely fragile, and can’t be manually handled. Instead, we put them in large moistening chambers that can get the job done without causing any breakages. 

When the leaves are moist, we strip and assess each one by hand. Our experienced team members sort the leaves into grades based on color, size, and quality. After all the leaves are sorted into batches, 50% move on to the next stage of the process. The other 50% of the leaves do not meet our high standards, so we dispose of them. 

Condition and Age

Conditioning and aging are key parts of evoking flavor in naturally extracted tobacco e-liquid. 

To start the conditioning process, we allow the leaves to air dry. This forces the intricate flavors inside the leaves to develop even further.   

Again, we add a uniform amount of moisture to the leaves. The leaves go into massive cylinders with steam that is increased and decreased at intervals. 

Blend the Tobacco

Our experts select leaves from different climate zones, stalk positions, and curing processes to create unique blends. The actual blending process is a family secret, but we can confirm that it has remained the same for decades. 

Each blend is slightly different but still embodies the same overall characteristics. This is one of the beauties of N.E.T. e-liquid. Not only are the flavorings natural and authentic, but every single bottle has its own unique take on the traditional tobacco taste.  

Naturally Extract the Tobacco

We follow a maceration method that locks the flavors in. We steep our tobacco leaves in cold extraction, which is one of the most gentle maceration methods in the industry. It also solidifies the flavors within the leaves, ensuring that the signature notes of each blend make it to the finished product. 

The leaves remain in the extraction at a low temperature for a while, then we remove them, dry them, and prepare them for the next stage. 

Filtering and Purifying

To make the best tobacco e-liquid possible, we use an industrial-sized microfilter. By the end of the process, there is no debris or contaminants in any of the blends. Our experienced chemists oversee the task to ensure it meets our high standards.
