Aspire Nautilus Mesh Coils use a mesh heating element rather than the older Bottom Vertical Coil, sold five to a pack. The 0.3 ohm runs 23 to 28 watts for a restricted direct lung draw. The 1.0 ohm runs 13 to 15 watts for mouth to lung.

Compatible with: the Nautilus 3S Tank, plus the Aspire Nautilus 3, Nautilus 3 squared, Nautilus 3SR and Nautilus GT II tanks. The 1.0 ohm also fits the Nautilus Nano.

Pairs cleanly with Special Blend in 70/30, which has no added sweeteners and is designed to reduce coil buildup.

Other Nautilus coil options: 2S coils (0.4 and 0.7 ohm) and BVC coils (1.6 and 1.8 ohm) for a tighter, lower-wattage draw.

FAQ's

Aspire rates the 0.3 ohm at 23 to 28 watts and the 1.0 ohm at 13 to 15 watts. Start low in the range and work up.

Aspire lists the Nautilus 3, Nautilus 3 squared, Nautilus 3S, Nautilus 3SR and Nautilus GT II. The 1.0 ohm also fits the smaller Nautilus Nano tank; the 0.3 ohm does not.

Aspire lists the Zelos X80, Zelos 3, Zelos X, Zelos M80 and Rhea X. Any regulated 510 mod that covers the wattage range will do the job.

BVC is Aspire’s older Bottom Vertical Coil, a wire coil in a vertical housing. Mesh uses a flat perforated strip instead, which heats more evenly across a larger surface. In practice mesh gives cleaner flavour and lasts longer; BVC runs at much lower wattage and gives a tighter, cooler draw.

The 1.0 ohm at 13 to 15 watts is the mouth-to-lung option and suits salt nicotine or a higher-strength freebase. The 0.3 ohm at 23 to 28 watts opens into a restricted direct-lung draw with much more vapour, so drop your nicotine strength accordingly.

One to two weeks is typical, but it depends on how much you vape and what you run through it. Sweetened e-liquids caramelise on the coil and can halve its life. Unsweetened tobacco blends are much gentler, which is one reason our liquids carry no added sweeteners.

Put two or three drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton, fit the coil, fill the tank, then let it stand for five to ten minutes. Take a couple of gentle draws with the device off to pull liquid through, then start at the bottom of the wattage range.

Almost always one of four causes: fired before the cotton was saturated, run above the rated wattage, the tank was low, or chain-vaping faster than the wick can recover. A burnt coil cannot be revived, so prime the next one properly and give it a beat between draws.

A 50/50 suits the 1.0 ohm and wicks quickly. For the 0.3 ohm a 70/30 is the better match. Our tobacco blends come in both.

    loved it at first vape. About a day and a half later I noticed a considerable difference in the taste. No big deal. I used it for one more day before swapping in a new atomizer. Seven atomizers later, I'm lucky to get a full 3 days out of each one.

    Reliable

    I've been using these coils for a few years now and find them somewhat hit and miss. Most of the time they last ages, but every now and then I get a rogue one that burns out very quickly, though overall I'm satisfied with the quality.

    Thse are some good coils

    I bought the 0.7 ohm coils and they're quite good. I'm a heavy vaper and each coil lasts a few days before I need a new one. These are decent coils, but after vaping for a while, they lose the flavor of the eliquid.

    They work

    I'm a heavy MTL vaper, and these are the best tanks/coils I've come across. These coils last about 3000 puffs for me, making them the longest-lasting coils I've found.

    Aspiring to New Heights

    Aspire's new atomizer heads for the mini (V2) are excellent. The flavor is purer and they produce bigger vapor than the V1 coils. Love these heads! You can use the V2 coils in the Nautilus mini or the regular Nautilus to take advantage of the BVC technology, whether you prefer the smaller or larger tank.

    These replacement coils are the ideal choice for a K3 Aspire model. They fit into it perfectly. The coils allow for a clear, fresh taste. I vape fairly often throughout the day and find that I need to change them roughly every four days.
