HOW IT’S DONE IS THIS SIMPLE
WHEN IT COMES TO EMAILING YOUR FRIENDS FOR THE ‘REFER-A-FRIEND’ PROGRAM, YOU HAVE TWO OPTIONS:
OPTION 1
Sign into your account. Click on ‘Share’. Use the ‘pop-up window’. The referral email is a standard email message that includes your unique customer referral ID so we can track your rewards when one of your friends becomes a customer and buys our products.
OPTION 2
Send your own email and include the link found on ‘at the bottom of the pop-up’ page.
ONCE YOUR FRIENDS REGISTER ON OUR SITE AND MAKE A PURCHASE, YOU WILL EARN $10 WHICH CAN BE APPLIED TO YOUR PRODUCT PURCHASES.

TRACKING YOUR REFERRALS
In order to keep track of the friends you’ve referred, Black Note uses cookies to identify you and your referrals. Here’s how we use cookies for our Refer-A-Friend rewards program:
After sending a broadcast referral link or a personal email invitation containing your unique customer link, your friend must click on the link to visit the website.
If your friend closes the email or the web browser or opens a tab and types the Black Note website name in on his or her own, the referral link will not work and neither you will receive referral points.
Once your friend clicks the link and is taken to the website, a temporary cookie is placed on the friend’s web browser. The cookie contains the referral information.
As long as your friend makes a purchase while the browser tab is open and the cookie is “active,” the referral information will be transferred and you will earn $10. When the browser tab is closed, the cookie will no longer be active and referral information for that browser session will be lost. That means if your friend comes back later to sign up without clicking through your link to access the Black Note website, you won’t receive your $10 rewards.
