PRESERVING EARTH’S RESOURCES
As a company devoted to naturally extracted tobacco vaping liquid, you can bet Black Note cares about and tends to its carbon footprint. We wouldn’t be able to sleep if we didn’t!
And that is how the idea of recycling our tubes first came about. We offered a recycling program that asked consumers to send back their tubes, but we have been presented with some news:
- New FDA regulations prohibit companies from offering Free Products/Samples to customers.
- An assessment revealed it was causing more waste than it was conserving.
The program has thus been discontinued.
Doing Our Part
We steer clear of plastic anything as much as possible, instead opting for glass bottles for our vaping liquids. Our cardboard tubes and Notebook packaging materials are also environmentally friendly, made from 100% recycled paper. The breakdown is 95% post-consumer recycled paper and 5% pre-consumer recycled paper, to be exact.
- Post-consumer recycled material comes from waste that’s been used by a consumer, discarded and then typically placed in recycling bins. Think tin cans and newspapers.
- Pre-consumer recycled material consists of waste that never made it to the consumer, such as trimmings, rejects and other stuff that ends up on the factory floor.
We even tried a pilot recycling program that asked consumers to send back their tubes, but an assessment revealed it was causing more waste than it was conserving. The program has thus been discontinued.
Doing Your Part
You’ll notice our glass bottles, cardboard tubes and other paper packaging materials are fully recyclable. So please make them (and the earth) happy with proper disposal in the appropriate recycling bin.
