Sub-Ohm vaping is a style of vaping that produces big clouds of vapor and intense flavor. This is achieved through using a sub-ohm device, which pairs low resistance coils that are less than 1ohm (eg. a 0.5ohm – 0.8ohm coil) with a battery that can output a high wattage (a lot of power! eg. 150W). Typically those who vape with a sub-ohm device prefer juice with higher vegetable glycerin (VG) to propylene glycol (PG) ratio because it produces more vapor and has less of a throat hit which enables a longer DTL inhale. ‘Sub-Ohm’ literally means ‘below 1 Ohm of resistance’. Sub-ohm devices aren’t usually the best option for new vapers.
