Being new to vaping (2 months) I gave this 4 stars, only because I'm not experienced enough to state this is the end all be all of tobacco flavor or essence e-liquids. Decided to try vaping after starting to smoke icky sticks while waiting to see a medical specialists. Rarely a full time smoker, but have smoked on and off for months at a time much of my life. Wanted something that tasted like tobacco rather than fruit punch or cupcakes, though I've since found a custard flavor I enjoy. The 3 previous tobacco flavored juices I tried were good, 2 of which I still enjoy very much. They definitely had a subtle sweetness to them. Obviously I ended up at Black Note, and ordered the Instrumenthol. The Prelude is amazingly cigarette like, without the nasty taste, tobacco never tasted so good. It's got a slight hint of sweet somewhere in it, but it's clearly the natural flavor of the tobacco and curing. Some reviews have mentioned if one smoked American S. cigarettes that this is similar. I did smoke those and I wouldn't call it similar, I'd call it better.Jutt –

Authentic flavor
I like menthol, but with all the hype surrounding this brand I feel like I'd miss out if I only tried their menthol. I vaped on this for a couple of days and I've really enjoyed it. The cheap tobacco flavors on the market taste like vaping syrup with how sweet they are but this has subtle sweetness. Not the greatest at making builds so the throat hit varied with the last build being super smooth but overall, with good builds and your preferred strength I think it's money well spent.
