Straight out of the Ball Park
The prelude is what I was looking for, this e-liquid is absolutly awsome, I have tried many tobacco flavors but none of them satisfied me (in fact some of them were just awfull). But this is a master piece, a work of art I can compare it to a fine bottle of wine, maybe not a petrus but close to a Château La Vieille Cure Fronsac 2001 that's how good it is, I must tip my hat to Black Note ! A prelude in taste
After ordering the Notebook, to see which flavors I will continue to vape, I opened prelude first. I was a little taken back with the natural and earthy flavors, which are a far cry from the usual junk-filled "'tobacco'' flavors. This is was my first impression of Black Notes Prelude. After a few moments though, I realized that this was exactly the type of juice I was looking for. Black Note blends contain depth. There are layers of notes, so to speak, and although preludes mid range was still not *just* right for me, I knew that soon I would find the right note.John –

Awesome Company and Awesome Product!
First off, I want to point out that it's very rare to come across a company that values their customers over their bottom line. Blacknote is one of those rare companies. There was an issue that was neither their fault nor mine, but the shippers fault and even though Blacknote was not obligated to fix it, they did. Not only did they take the hit themselves, but they fixed it first thing Monday morning. I am now a lifetime customer for Blacknote. Now, on to the product itself.... I used to be a 2 pack a day Marlboro Black Red 100 smoker. For 15 years. I quit and changed to vaping before I tried this and wish I would have tried this year's ago and I would have quit sooner. The throat hit is perfect. I vape between 80-90w and the throat hit, vapor, and flavor are perfect at this wattage. It has a definite tobacco taste with a very quick, slight, sweet exhale. It's not a candy sweet or is it overpowering. It's just very.... nice. To me, it's not as strong as a Marlboro red, but the throat hit is. I've gotten so used to sweet flavors, so I have added just a half dropper of Rita from Pinup Vapors and OMG, I was in HEAVEN! My husband loves it by itself and he smoked the same as me and as much as me and until we got this, he was still buying a pack a week just to have the tobacco taste he love and he now says he won't need to because of Prelude! I love this company and Prelude. I'll be trying Encore next, and I've just ordered it now. So I'll write my review for that soon! The only tobacco flavor that makes sense to me

Delicate
I enjoy the mild and somewhat bright taste. One of my most favorite cigarettes, and difficult to find here in the USA(thankfully, or I'd still smoke), was Shepherds Hotel-a blend of 2 tobaccos if memory serves correctly. This Virginia tobacco comes close, just need to find another one of Black Notes liquids to mix for a mello, rich depth in hopes of recreating that beautiful tobacco blend I so enjoyed.Trey –
