I have been using these for some time now and they have a lot of use on them. Batteries have not degraded. They charge really fast and last until the pod is empty (until a new pod is needed). They have been dropped hundreds of times. The pods produce a nice vape using the tobacco flavors. Some of the flavors are much harder on the pods than others needing more frequent changes. When the battery depletes before the pod is empty, I know I need a new pod and can also taste the degradation in flavor. Pods are very easy to refill and I have several at the ready at any time, each numbered with a sharpie that corresponds to the bottles of juice I numbered so I know what’s what. I cycle through seven different blends. Best device I have used and they are compact so easy to carry with.

After about three months of continuous use, I’ve concluded that the Uwell Caliburn is ideal for BN’s first-line e-liquids. I’m all in. (I haven’t tried any of BN’s salt e-liquids yet.) The only drawback is battery life…the solution is buy two of them and have one always at the ready.
I have one observation: I find that the Uwell Koko 1.2ohm pod (which is compatible with the Uwell Caliburn) works much better for me. The Koko pod delivers a more flavor-forward and slightly warmer vape than the 1.4ohm pod included with the Caliurn kit. For me, the Koko 1.2ohm pod is the sweet spot with the Caliburn.
I can also report that the 1.2ohm Koko pod lasts longer than 1.4ohm Caliburn pod. I go through 4-5ml of Black Note e-liquid per day. The Koko pod delivers consistently nice quality for at least three days, whereas the Caliburn 1.4ohm pod is usually done after two days (or approximately 8-10ml of e-liquid).
I encourage Black Note to offer the Koko pod on their site.
Kudos to Black Note, purveyor of the only e-liquids that matter.

I started with the Aspire OBY & had to have a bi coloured vape (the purple option). The flavour comes through so much stronger then with the Aspire & once you figure out how to remove the cap the top filling system makes refilling the cartridges a BREEZE.
While the Aspire is great for a mostly throat hit, the Uwell system allows you to roll the flavour around your mouth & fully enjoy the intricacies of the Black Note e-liquids. The 1.2 Ohm replacement cartridges are part of that, making a very easy draw & therefore easier to enjoy the flavour with all your taste buds. I’m so glad my bi pride caused me to get a bi flag coloured vape b/c it far exceeds ALL of my expectations & I am super happy with my new vape. (Though I also like having the OBY around for backup.)

I really like this device. It performs well, is reasonably priced and charges very quickly. There is room for improvement, which is why I give it 4 starts. First, the window on the side to see how much juice is left is way too small to be useful. I have to pull out the top to look at it, and often forget to do that. This leads to vaping the empty pod, ruining the pod before its time. Second, it’s quite loud for a vape, which makes it less discrete than most other vapes I’ve used.

After reading the description and the reviews I gave this a try and found it disappointing. My first fill was with Kentucky didn’t bring out any of the delightful flavor. I then switched to Latakia, which is my favorite for evening, and, even with some modest improvement, was again disappointed.
Using just the draw requires two or three puffs to get a satisfactory result. Using the button works better but, it is awkward to feel and I have to look each time to see the button.

This worked great for the first month and it’s been all down hill from there.
The negative: I love the vape but it ****leaks constantly****, and after putting in a new pod it starts leaking again after 3-4 days. It leaks out and also seeps down to the “burners”. Additionally, getting the mouth piece off to access the pod for refilling is a PITA.
The pods themselves don’t last long, especially with all the leaking down to the burners, before having to be replaced. That gets expensive.
The positive: nice design, nice size, great draw. But the constant leaking and pods that wear out fast causing greater leaking, is a huge deal breaker for me. I expected better from Blacknote.

I switch out between the Caliburn 11w and the 18w (with the 1 ohm). They charge extremely quickly and gold a charge for a longer period of time than I would expect.
I’ve never had issues with leaking pods, even with multiple full pods, each with a different juice, floating around in my pocket during the work day or during long flights on a plane.
Of all the pod system vape I have used I will only buy this one again… until they upgrade it to a model with a usb-c style recharging port. And then that would be my new favorite.

I really wanted to like this vape, but I was quite disappointed in the hit. It’s a very light hit and the shape of the mouthpiece is very unnatural.
