By leaps and bounds, I found this to be the worst tasting Black Note e-juice. Other than the menthol, I’ve tried every one, including those which have been, sadly, IMO, discontinued, and I’d rate most a “five” and none lower than “four”. This stuff, though, simply vile. However, I do hope they keep looking for a formula that will lengthen coil life AND delivers decent flavor.

I was blending 50/50 & 70/30 to avoid spitback & too much leakage. This does neither, & doesn’t fry my coils. Other blends were killing coils after 3-4 day, they just didn’t taste great, if I was lucky, I could push a coil to 5-6 days use before it just started to taste awful & wouldn’t hit right. First use w/this blend, had a coil last almost 3 weeks. Just the $$ I’m saving on pods alone makes it SO worth it to pay the xtra $6, + I do really like the flavour of this new blend-someone else had noted, it actually tastes like a fresh cigarette. I had been blending Cavendish & Virginia prior. My only issue, ever, really, *still* is not being able to get an appropriate nicotine level for me. I prefer 9mgs-6 is a little too low, 12, a bit too much/high, & I always have to get 2 bottles to blend them to get the right nic level for me. I do wish they’d come out w/a 9mg nic level at some point.

I have been spending a lot of time experimenting to find the right true tobacco flavor vape. Disposables are to expensive. I bought the vape and “special” and I liked it a lot. My only issue was there was just not enough flavor. So, on a whim, I put the Special in my old Calibun G with and new pod. Its much better. My favorite is the American but I assume this water born will increase and more stronger flavor will emerge. Great prodcut I have used one coil and on the second bottle with no gunk!

I have yet to change the pod using this blend while all my other preferred flavors have needed multiple pod changes. I hope that this method can be expanded to the other tobacco flavor options as well. So it costs a little more. You will save way more than that on pods. Using the Caliburn 11W system.

I really like the flavor of this new blend. Its light but still packs a punch. I have also noticed that it does significantly extend the life of my coils. I prefer to mix it with my other flavors like Virginia or Cavendish but it’s good on its own. As described, it definitely makes your coils last longer, instead of having to change my coils every 1/2 to 2 weeks I’m still on the same coil for 1 month! The taste is the same as when I first installed the coil so we’ll see just how long this lasts. The taste is a bit milder than the Virginia blend I have been using but I’ve gotten used to it and enjoy the taste. Although it costs more I think the cost will offset having to buy more coils. It’s excellent all by itself, but my primary use for Special Blend is mixing it with other excellent BN offerings. For example, I’m not a big fan of BN’s Burley blend; but combine it with Special Blend in a 50/50 mixture…Bravo! It’s a winner for me. I add one part Menthol for a nice touch.

This is an update to my first review. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I’m starting to mix it. it is definitely crystal clear and doesn’t gunk coils as fast, however it is lacking in the flavor compexity of the normal cold macerated pg based extracts. I find use for it in blending to get slightly more coil friendly NET vape that still has some flavor depth. This is a little thinner viscocity due to the water content being a little higher. Works well with my Nautilus coils as I usually run a 30/70 or 40/60 in those
