If you like a drier, nuttier tobacco that isn’t sweet, Burley is the one. It’s air-cured Burley leaf, earthy and nutty with a slightly dry finish. Burley is naturally low in sugar, so it reads full-bodied and mellow rather than sweet.

Choose your formulation

  • 50VG/50PG: the everyday version, smooth in MTL pods and low-wattage devices. 60mL. This is the all-day Burley for most people.
  • 70VG/30PG: more VG for bigger vapor in sub-ohm setups. 60mL.

What's the difference between 50/50, 70/30, and salt?

50VG/50PG is smooth in MTL pods and low-wattage devices. 70VG/30PG has more VG for bigger vapor in sub-ohm setups. Salt nicotine comes in higher strengths and gives a smoother pull in pod devices. New to these numbers? VG (vegetable glycerin) and PG (propylene glycol) are the two liquids that make up every e-liquid, ours included. The ratio is just how much of each: more VG makes for thicker vapor and bigger clouds, more PG carries flavor and feels a little sharper.

Which one should I choose?

    Outstanding Flavor

    First of all, patrons/reviewers should understand that wattage affects flavor--the higher the wattage, specifically the sweetness. The higher the wattage, the sweeter it becomes. I'm using OXVA XLIM Pro 2 with 0.6ohm cartridge at 23W, OXVA NeXLIM 0.6ohm cartridge at 38W (Boost mode), GeekVape Z Sub-Ohm Tanks with Z XM 0.15ohm coil at 70W and Voopoo UForce-L Sub-Ohm Tank with PnP TW15 0.15ohm coil at 65W. I have compared each e-liquid in them all. So the differences in tastes, especially sweetness, is due to this mainly. I find that it is only the sweetness that substantially change, the tobacco not so much. For example, Kentucky becomes sweet in my sub-ohm tank, but is perfect in my XLIM Pro 2. Burley is the best for me as it is the least sweet, almost no sweetness...almost just pure tobacco flavor, which is what I like most. I can vape this all day. I have tried and compared almost all of the Black Note blends (except Cavendish) in my sub-ohm tanks, and the Burley is awesome and my favorite. I am aghast at the fact that Black Note is the only one in the world that offers this kind of clean e-liquid with explicit claims/representations/statements on all their products' clean ingredients and lack of harmful ingredients. No other that is this confident and transparent. There is another one in Italy, and I think it is their partner in the V by Black Note (V=Vaporificio), but it doesn't make as explicit statements on its ingredients as Black Note (Vaporificio should if their ingredients are the same). I order and will order only from Black Note because of this. Bravo Black Note. Keep it up. Cheers

    This is it! Your daily, your go-to. The throat hit, the subtle tobacco taste. My number 1, the only close thing to the real thing. The two best vapes they have.. in my opinion is Burley and Kentucky, as of now this Burley just hits the spot.     This is great. I was a Camel Wide Red smoker for years & then my regular vap shop with a good flavor tobacco vap closed it doors. I've been searching with no luck for a replacement flavor and was just about to give up and buy a pack of Camel Wides , but then I order this. The search is over, it came and to my surprise...     Just like a Cigarette!

    This is the closest taste to a cigarette I’ve discovered so far, even while it lacked the immediate nicotine hit that all freebase liquids share in common. I didn’t get a major blast of intense flavor, but just the general taste of a decent cigarette like American Spirit Yellow, which is my go to choice in cigarettes. I will certainly be trying the Burley in the Nic salt version … hopefully the taste will be the same, with the added Nic hit you get from the salt. As a side note, I’ve just begun testing the variety pack (70/30 18mg) and I started out using a SMOK sub-ohm tank with a high wattage coil DL. None of those tried so far (Virginia, Cavendish, Kentucky) seem very suited to high wattage DL, and fair far better on MTL lower wattage vaping. In fact, the Virginia was the first one I tried, and it was horrible bad, like a rancid half smoked cigar relit the next day. Given the glowing reviews of the Virginia, I will be giving it another go in my Zenith II, low wattage 1.2 coil, MTL, and will update the difference.
