Forte is actually similar to Prelude, but the flavor is more pronounced. If Prelude is like a light tobacco blend, Forte leans more toward a full-bodied blend. However, it is not harsh or excessive. Like all the others in the Notebook, Forte is smooth and well-balanced. The flavor is a distinct but fairly neutral tobacco profile, with a surprising mild sweetness for a Burley-based blend. Forte also mixes well with Legato or Solo. Overall, another superb effort that scores a 4 versus the other 7 flavors in the Notebook, but would easily top any artificially flavored product.Matt –

Not a fan
Ill be honest...I'm not a fan. I had high hopes for this given the extremely high ratings and premium price but I dislike it so much im not sure how I'm gonna continue to vape it. There is a slight aromatic tobacco flavor but the most prominent taste to come through is reminiscent of melted plastic. I thought it just might be me but without collusion my wife had the same opinion. Needless to say I probably won't be taking any more monetary risks with any of the other flavors.Mark –

I've been vaping for over 5 years now, and from the very beginning I searched for that perfect tobacco flavor...because to be honest, I loved smoking! I loved that tobacco flavor, you know the one you got with that relaxing smoke with your first cup of coffee in the morning. Well, to be frank...nothing in the vaping world was providing that satisfaction, that is until I found Black Note's FORTE. For me it's perfect, I know taste is highly subjective....but truly it's flavor, throat hit, and consistent "ahhhh" sensations it provides nails it. First time vaper, first time shopper, so my qualifications are limited to say the least. I quit smoking several years ago, but find myself craving a little lately. This does the trick without all the nastiness of cigarettes, cigars and pipes. To my tastebuds, Forte has a mild taste with no after funk. I was also sent Bravura and Quartet samples (many thanks) and enjoyed those as well. The Bravura tasted more like a nice pipe tobacco to me and the Quartet seemed complex and rich. I received Forte1.8% nic. It is very good and robust flavor. Good if you are use to a strong regular cig. The only drawback I see with any of black note is not the flavors. Those are spot on. It is the 50/50 mix of pg/vg. If you have a sensativity to Glycerin as I do. The 50% vg leaves your mouth very dry. For me sometimes to the point I have to put down my BN flavors and use my 70/30 ratio for awhile.I only wish they offered a 70/Pg/30 VG ratio for the few like me. Those I tolerate much better.BN is above the rest in Pure natural flavors. Great customer service. Customer service is there for you the consumer.
