Interesting and unique flavor
This has a more robust taste to it than prelude (the only other one i've tried so far) but also has some sweetness to it, but it's not necessarily defined by it. Others have said this is smooth and light, i'm inclined to agree. The flavorings are subtle and at my settings produce a warm hit. I only have the 3% blend so the throat hit isn't nearly like real tobacco but the flavor is reminiscent of sweet cigarillos the like of the AL-Capone cigarillos. It might be my set-up, but i rate this 4 stars because of it's subtly; you have to focus on the flavor to detect it rather than it being up front and powerful That might be what make others rate it 5 stars though.Cory –

There Can Be Only One!
After extensive research I decided to try vaping and quit smoking. Every inquiry for a "real tasting" e-juice resulted in "...Blacknote products stand alone, nothing else comes close." So I ordered a mod and an Asripre Nautilus, and some Blacknote Sonata. Your dedication to customer service is excellent. My first order got here quickly, California to Northern Michigan in 2 days... WOW! Set my system up, filled the tank and I haven't had a cigarette, not even a puff, since April 14, 2017. To say that I'm pleased with your company and your products is a gross understatement. My impression of the two Liquids that I've tried so far: Sonata - A great first choice to "test the water". Subtle, light, a hint of sweetness, but not quite robust enough for a 40 year "Hump" smoker. I knew I was on the right track, so I opted for Forte on my next order. Forte - Bingo! A somewhat "dryer", more robust tobacco flavor. Just what I had hoped for. New number one for me
I was bummed when Black Note discontinued my favorite, Cadenza, so it was back to the drawing board. I've tried all Black Note creations, and have now settled on Forte as my all-day vape. I find it to be the most flavorful of all current Black Note offerings, full-bodied and deep. Great by itself, but I generally mix in about 20% Quartet, which is in a class by itself. As a former pipe smoker, partial to English blends, the Latakia of Quartet I associate with good cognac and single-malt scotches. It can be a bit overwhelming by itself during the day, though. Forte is fine by itself, but adding a touch of Quartet is the finishing touch. Should I call it Fortet? Or Quarte? I just call it good. By the way, I recently tried some other NETs from different makers to compare them side-by-side with Black Note, hoping to save a few bucks. They were not in the same league. You get what you pay for, I guess. If you enjoy a rich, full tobacco flavor, try Forte. If something milder fits your palate, some of the other Black Note flavors might be more to your liking.
