Ordered a couple more bottles and haven’t changed my mind, nor do I expect to anytime soon. People are giving Cuban points off because they feel the vape is not living up to its name. A name after all is only a name. I judge an e-juice on taste; Cuban delivers and then some, enough so that it is now my every day vape and I don’t grow tired of the same flavor – I never rotated my Camel Wides and I don’t rotate my Cuban. I use a Freemax Mesh Pro at 100 watts and get a delicious, heady hit every time.

A very long time ago my late father introduced me to a real Cuban. Something you never forget. Does this match up…..DAM close and better than anything I have had coming from a vape. But no your not going to get the same effect because there is no SMOKE. I totally forgot I had set it up and hit my vape like I usually do and was coughing and hacking like my very first cigar didn’t help much I was laughing my ass off at the same time. But really you can taste it and it is very enjoyable to me. I was mainly a pipe smoker and I pretty much use my vape the same way. BTW MY perfect world is enjoying tobacco and I have NO plans on quitting. I grew up in tobacco country and got to smell the tobacco in the barns. Synths and other naturals all try too hard and end up with an overpowering flavor that steamrollers all of the potential subtleties they might have had. After purchasing the notebook and trying out a number of flavors, I decided upon my favorites: cavendish, kentucky and burley. Normally, I order all three and swap out between them. The last time I placed my order, Black Note was out of kentucky in 1.2 mg concentration. So, in its place, I decided to try out the new Cuban cigar flavor.
Fortunately, I have no regrets. The flavor is reminiscent of a mild cigar, with some spiciness and a tiny bit of sweetness. The liquid is nice and clear and does not gunk up my coils (I use Mig Vapor clear fusion and max). Vapor is thick and throaty. Overall, it’s an excellent flavor and will definitely be part of my rotation from now on.

I must admit, being a HUGE fan of Quartet (The Latakia blend) for a while now, I was expecting far more from this cigar flavour. I actually went to Black Note due to my love of Cigars and Fine Tobaccos originally, so I was very satisfied with the richness and smokiness of Quartet, being that I even found the smell of its vapour to closely resemble burning tobacco, so I had big expectations for this blend and was very disappointed with how it turned out. The flavour is very lacking, as a matter of fact to the point where it is barely detectable. I actually find this blend to be close to the mildness of the Prelude blend, which I didn’t like for that very reason. It doesn’t really have any similarities to the flavour of tobacco, let alone a Cuban cigar. It’s obvious quite a few others feel the same way, I’ve tried all of the other black note Blends so I think it’s safe to say they need to work on this one. Not happy.

I was going to order my ususal Cavendish and Latakia on the site. Then I noticed Cuban Cigar Blend! I instantly bought it without hesitiation. It is satisfyingly bold. There is a surprising complexity in the flavor, there is not just one overwhelming taste about it. I want to say that it is robustly earthy, while sweet in a naturally occurring sugar way characteristic of plant variety and having a balance that peaks perfectly each drag. It goes nice with some choice drinks.
Cuban Cigar flavor is my favorite vaping flavor since I began vaping about 5 years ago. However, as we all know, most manufacturers guess around and create an artificial estimate. Which is why I found myself swapping around for the next better one for years.
Then one day after purchasing an upgrade of a vape, Vaporesso Revenger Mini, I thought I would look for an upgrade of juice. My google search led me to Black Note—precisely what I was looking for and more! I tried the sampler pack and I admit that they are all good tasting and quality. I found that Cavendish and Latakia were my favorites though [otherwise I would get a round of all of them every time]. I like the richness and smooth flavor of Cavendish and the body and exquisite smokiness of Latakia.
However, what I was really looking for was not there. Until I discovered it recently! I honestly just put in another order for Cigar and Latakia on Sunday even though I made my initial Cigar order a week ago so that I will be stocked for a couple of months. I much prefer Cuban Cigar over all the others, but since discovering Latakia style with Black Note I find myself in the enjoyable habit of switching around many times a week on the same coil and even mixing them for endless flavor profiles extrodinaire!
Ultimately, I am genuinely happy with Black Note. They have created such quality products from natural sources that I have stopped occasional tobacco smoking for about a year now [which is when I discovered Black Note]. I used to smoke about 10 cigarettes a day or so before I cut down with vaping. It is a very kind gesture for them to continue to provide free shipping as well. My lung function keeps improving as I stay away from smoking tobacco so, even though it is not exactly like smoking in terms of flavor—the tradeoff is remarkably favorable! At least it always tastes like the real thing with intricacies and subtleties along the way. I am glad to be away from the fake tobacco vape liquid. Sometimes it would taste so off and strange that I would bum a cigarette for the hell of it.

I have been very impressed with all of the Black Note e-liquids. In fact, I have all but switched to using them exclusively. Maybe it’s the mod I’m using, but I didn’t really pick up on the cigar flavor. The Quartet has more of the smoky, complex nuances most would associate with a high end cigar. This is a very nice tobacco flavor. I have been vaping Black Note eLiquid for almost two years. Cigar is a new addition and is one of their best. I also really enjoy Sonata. Try the Black Note Notebook if you are new and find a flavor you like. They are all good, but Sonata and Cigar are my favorites. I like this new flavor, but I don’t love it. It’s very, very subtle. No harshness, which is good, but it’s mild enough where there isn’t any outstanding flavor note to remark about. To be fair, I’ve never smoked a Cuban cigar, so maybe they have nailed that flavor and I just don’t know it, but I probably will stick with the Jazz, Pop, Rock, Forte and Legato, personally. Labeling this new edition from Black Note “Cigar” may be a little misleading for those looking for a cigar-like, robust flavor. (For those who are looking for the robust, I highly recommend Black Note’s outstanding, latakia tobacco Quartet. I always have a bottle of Quartet at hand to blend with Prelude/Virginia at 8 parts Prelude and 2 parts Quartet for a very satisfying vape.) Cigar isn’t robust but has a mild but rich Sonata-like quality. I like it a lot and will certainly order more.

The flavor notes in this product’s description are spot on…except, if you are expecting the intensity of a cigar, it doesn’t quite meet that level. But who cares…it tastes great, and really hits the spot with an “adult beverage” or after a fine meal. I will put this on my must buy list.

Great flavor. It has been years since I indulged in a good cigar – Concerto filled the gap. Mild, but tasty. I use Legato during the day and now switch to Concerto in the afternoon finishing up with Quartet (and a little scotch) in the evening.

Taste is a bit too delicate for a 40 pack/year cigarette smoker who quit two years ago. Blacknote products are the only liquids I use because they taste clean.

First my equipment: Vaporesso Armour Pro with baby cascade tank at 35 watts. .18 mesh coil that had naked 100 polar breeze in it befor I filled tank with Cuban cigar blend 6 mg. Very mild taste, even lacking in taste but stronger throat hit than most 3 mg. it was absolutely clean and clear tobacco with no muddy aftertaste even at 6 mg. A bit of throat hit (would be less for 3 mg). Very nice taste. I enjoy solo about the same but have not tried the Cuban absolutely clean. Meaning I have not tried the Cuban with a new coil by itself. I would venture to say that you should get the 3 mg version just because the lower nic is usually more flavorful.
All in all this is a very nice tobacco vape!
I can’t say if it matches the Cuban experience since I have no experience with premium Cubans. This is a good tobaccocigar Vape!

The taste is sweeter then any cigar I’ve had. It is still very smooth, robust but not as rich. I will be sticking to the Latakia and the Virginia menthol.

In addition to vaping, I’m a regular cigar smoker, including the occasional illicit Cuban. Vaping isn’t the same as smoking, as the “smoking” flavor comes from burning tobacco, which is difficult to duplicate with anything other than burning tobacco. That having been said, Black Note products are the best I’ve tried so for and the Concerto is the closest thing to actual cigar flavor.

I am a premium cigar lover. I used to smoke Opus X whenever I could find them. Black Note hit this batch out of the park. Concerto tastes like a fine, hand-rolled premium cigar. I love this blend .
